Booked in for a root canal following day walked into suite 333 where Dr.Wayne Pulver was working on…read moreTuesday's only. The reception Philippino lady... well, she definitely had a fork up her butt her snarky attituded only lasted 5 minutes before I set her straight she has some serious issues! please get help, incompetent idiot. Meeting the doctor for the first time he was friendly and within 1 minute he tells me I'll need two appointments to complete the root canal and itll cost me $1200 wow $1200 for a root canal? I told him i will not pay more than $1000 and thats already over paying, which he quickly agreed to with a BIG GRIN on his face. The doctor asked me numerous of times if i had a credit card- before he started the first process of the root canal, which I repeatedly said yes! After the first step was completed they make you go back to the receptionist with your face numb all the way up to your eye balls! Literally! Just to book your second appointment. -btw I had to stand there answering questions while my entire face was numb I also waited for her to photo copy my credit card and in meantime she has the nerve to answer calls and take her sweet time on the phone, It was brutal. shame for a dentist office to do this to there patients. "I WISH I NEVER CAME HERE" I SHOUTED IN MY HEAD 1 week later its finally time for the second appointment i show up to the same suite with the same receptionist working, this time around she was okay -just okay! I was told to take a seat and wait for the doctor I waited waited and waited 30 minutes went by, since I had time to spare I started to read the reviews. I was horrified at what I was reading and at how many people had a similar experience, my anxiety was at its highest point and it was too late now I couldnt back out now. Dr.Wayne Pulver this time around was extremely rude completely different personality from my first appointment, I got called in the room and the doctor numbed me and opened my mouth wide inserted the bite block and then the mouth prop, he literally left me there with my mouth opened wide with the mouth prop for a full -15 UNCOMFORTABLE MINUTES- while he was attending another patient next door!! in that time there were two European nurses working there and they both got into a screaming match in the dentist office in front of all the patients and Dr.Wayne Pulver did nothing about this he in fact let it continue on for 15 minutes. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT BOTHER COMING HERE ITS FOR YOUR BEST INTEREST. The root canal i paid for thinking itll save my tooth, nope it failed, i went through alot of pain the entire time after the surgery and now that tooth is extracted. DO NOT COME TO THIS DOCTOR TO GET ANY PROCEDURES COMPLETED.

I'm not really sure I have anything good to say here…read more Last year I developed an infection in the gums around my wisdom teeth. I don't have insurance so I don't go to a dentist regularly unless I absolutely need to. After taking xrays and looking at my tooth she told me my wisdom tooth needs to come out because it was impacted and would keep getting infected. So far so good. Then, she tells me my tooth is super close to the nerve. And I quote "there is a high chance you will get facial paralysis" from the nerve getting damaged because of its proximity to the tooth roots during the extraction. She didn't use the word "parasthesia" which would have been more appropriate, not really sure what she meant by paralysis??? She prescribed me some antibiotics for the infection and referred me to an oral surgeon (on reading his reviews left me feeling more anxious about the nerve damage). Never once did she alleviate my fears or concerns or tell me about my options, or treatment plan or recovery, in fact I felt extremely despondent and desolate after that appointment. I had to ask her what are my options and get this she said and I QUOTE, "Oh we can go back 5 years and take it out then" .... My last appointment with her was actually 3 years ago at which point she failed to mention this or follow up with me. Also what kind of comment is that from a professional? To this day I do not understand what the point was of that comment since we can;t obviously go back in time, unless she has been working on that versus doing her actual job of being a dentist. Definitely think its time to change dentists as I will NEVER ever go back to her. And strongly recommend you don't go to her as well. Well you can make a decision accordingly based on my experience. I never went to the surgeon she recommended, but went to another one based on my own research, and I had a really great dental experience after that. I never went back to her. Thanks.
