I called for a few questions…read moreabout Geico policies, got Roman who said I had to do another entire quote which I had already done, he was only interested in getting the quote purchased thru this agency, not helping me AT ALL. He thought he could sell me a bridge in a desert, giant ego, rude, condescending and actually lied about Fl required coverages to get me to buy more coverage I did not need. When I said he was wrong, he said well at this office we start policies with higher coverages then you can change it back after you pay. ?? No, not ok. Unscrupulous much? The call took an hour of him talking about nothing, digging into my personal business, wasting my time and then when I even mention his attitude of upselling and not doing anything "in my best interest" as he used that phrase for 30 minutes, I said please stop saying that,can you finish this quote so then you could possibly answer MY questions ? He immediately gives me a higher quote than online and asked for a credit card. I said are you serious? he says well we just don't get along , someone else will call you, I said No! No don't contact me, ever. Never... Roman is the very reason I last minute decided DO NOT buy this at all. I paid more for a different company, who were kind and reputable, never trying to pad a policy, so if this is any indication of Geico agents and their "service".... At that time I was in the middle of dealing with something in life and he was rude to my surprise as being a manager . I was once an Allstate fan but now I don't recommend it to anyone. As far as the claims department, they drag you through it, if it wasn't even you fault, plus didn't have an adjuster with in 90 miles from my home, so they made a complete 100% Decision based on my upload photos to make my vehicle a $18,000 total loss! WHO DOES THAT???? One more thing, their Right Track savings program is messed up completely, they do need some serious fixing up in some departments, but overall, those rates are untouchable when you have teenagers, just hope you never have an accident or think your gonna save additional because you will then have a migraine!

I had the good fortune to see Teresa Risner of LTC Advisors speak at a presentation concerning…read moreMedicare at the Senior One Center on Douglas Ave in Altamonte Springs where she has her office. She was an extremely articulate and humorous speaker who seemed to really know her stuff and I was to find out when it really mattered that my first impression was spot on. A few months after attending the presentation, I unfortunately let another consultant convince me to use him as he was claiming Ms. Risner was far too busy to give me her full attention and good service but it turned out to be him that would drop the ball in so many ways it was ridiculous!! Luckily when I needed advice regarding the previous choices I made, I remembered her comments and her encouragement to give her a call even if she was not my consultant and she'd be sure to give me her best thinking so I called her, made an appointment, met with her just this past week and I sure am glad I did! When we met at her office, she was completely 100% invested in what I needed which was advice regarding my Part D Medicare Drug plan which had changed drastically after I had renewed it during the past open enrollment. She was so engaged that not only did she help me with my Part D issues, she also noticed that I would save money on my Medigap premium if I was willing to consider changing plans as is allowed with the Medigap plans & so by going with her suggestion, she saved me $28.44 a month on my remaining nine monthly premiums because she noticed the alternative plan that was almost identical to the one I originally chose but had experienced a 7.7% decrease in the premium cost with the only change being that I would be responsible for the full or partial $185 deductible if any of it was not paid (which it turned out was paid in full in January due to a lot of medical charges that had already gone through.) She took her time, gave me her full attention, and expertly showed me the plan coverage, and even documentation of the price decrease. Also, she even confirmed that no additional underwriting would be necessary if I chose to stay with my current plan provider. She answered every question I had and didn't rush me nor did she make me feel badly about asking lots of questions as I was a bit confused about the change at first. Today when I called the plan provider they confirmed every single thing Ms. Risner had told me as well as confirmed the total cost savings of $256. That is quite a savings!! If you need someone to help you make good decisions regarding healthcare insurance and Medicare issues, look no further than Teresa Risner and her company LTC Advisors. I'll be referring all my friends and neighbors to her!!
