    But sandwich and fries
    Kytn E.

Was up in east Baldwin today and on lunch we drove around the corner to Richards' Dairy Delights. It was 10 minutes til open so we parked and I pulled up the menu online. Fairly good variety of sandwiches. Sides, wraps. Seafood sodas shakes and ice cream. Eric needed to hit a store so we hopped down the road to a variety market and went in. Eric went to grab his stuff and I checked out the menu. After standing there 15 minutes the guy behind the counter asked if I was picking up a order, no. Waiting to order, yep. It'll be at least 20 minutes til I can take your order. I headed back to the jeep and when Eric got in we headed back to Richards' and hoped it was still empty. Couple people ahead of us and 1 had order already. They finished up the gentleman ahead of me and I stepped up. 2 sales associate at the window discussing the proper way to put in half orders. Finally they finished up and asked what I wanted. Bacon lettuce no tomatoes and cheese sub with mayo and a side of fries. He told me fries came with it. Rung me up ($10ish) and they would call me over the intercom in 8 to 10 minutes. Awesome I sit in the jeep waiting. I decided to use the restroom before heading back to the site and for a small business the bathroom was really clean. I hear them announce my name and when I get out Eric's headed to the jeep with it. I asked if he got any condiments (no) so I run back to the window and 1 of the staff saw me and turned away and a few minutes later comes back around and I'm still waiting and she looked around for the people who were supposed to be working the window. Finally someone comes over and I asked for some mayo. Sure and hands me 1 packet and walked off. Guess I'm lucky to have gotten 1 smh We get back to the job site (5-6 minutes up the road and I open the container. My first thought is what is this cuz I ordered a sub. Second thought was I don't eat wheat bread. I open the bread and not a bit of mayonnaise on it. This sandwich looked like they had toasted the bread in the toaster and slapped everything else in it. Now the menu had listed various options for breads/wraps and I was never asked. They didn't season the sandwich at any point. There wasn't any mayo on it and the bacon was dripping a blackish grease. It was extremely dry and even trying to put 1/2 the packet of mayonnaise on it didn't help any. The fries I gotta say looked fresh and well cooked and could've been amazing if they had put salt or any kind of seasoning on it. For someplace that looked so cute from the outside with a nice variety of food and fair prices I was definitely disappointed. If you're not going to make what I ordered let me know at the window. Food needs seasoning and something to give it moisture. Hopefully today was a fluke and they actually do have decent service but I won't be going back again and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else does either. Go down the road to the variety market and wait the extra 20, at least you'll get what you ordered

Good ice cream with a few interesting & uncommon flavors. Good sized portions. What's not to like, it's ice cream.

Service was stellar the entire night. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable and hard working; a very popular and busy establishment. We had draft Pacifico beers which were nice and cold. We just had to try the baby pork shanks appetizer with zippy peach BBQ sauce served atop fennel and cabbage slaw with grilled peaches. Absolutely splendid dish! For entrees (which includes a salad and focaccia bread) we ordered the herb encrusted prime rib and the chicken saltimbocca. Both were extremely gererous portions. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the mushroom cream sauce was heavenly! The mashed potatoes and fresh veggies went perfectly with this dish. The prime rib was surprisly tough and chewey, but once we notified the staff, they did everything to try to make it right. We finished off with a limocello digestive. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the ambiance of the space and the vibes at the bar. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless. Small parking lot or on street parking. Reservations are strongly recommended as this place fills up fast!

The flavors, presentation and overall taste of this food amazing. We had the Gyoza, which has depth of flavor and even with being in a light sauce still holds its crispiness. The crab ragoons were next and were the best I have had, especially since most are more like just cream cheese filling and this was far from that and had fresh crab on top. My daughter had the burger and my wife and I both tried and will be back for this, flavored well, very fresh and overall just incredible. My wife and I had the bang bang shrimp which was fresh with greens that were lightly dressed perfectly and complimented the shrimp and rice base. We were also able to watch the kitchen staff that you could just see take complete pride in everything they do and was a pleasure to observe. Our server Laru was also very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and was just another great addition to our experience. If you are on the fence about trying this place do yourself a favor and just try it.

The sushi stand in the front. We were greeted at the bar and given water and menus right away. Loved the prompt service, the ambiance, the art on the walls. Enough lighting for a restaurant/bar. The menu was interesting and had sushi, fish, a wagyu burger, some really fun drinks and more. We split some dumplings, a roll, and got individual meals. We got our dumplings rather quickly but then waited an hour for the rest of our food. It was really busy, and they had staff, but I feel like it would not ever normally be this busy. But they were so nice about it. And we were not in a rush, so it works out just fine. Our roll was off - and it turned out we got the wrong one. But they were apologetic and again it was really busy. But when the entre came out - wow. I got a Ongiri with Haddock and some crispy onions on top - it was fantastic. My husband had a bowl of ramen that he said needed a little salt. But it was good, service as fantastic, and I would definitely want to come back when they are not busy to try the food and service again. I am sure it will be great.
