We travel to Colorado from Texas every year without any problems. This year, however, was different. We were traveling up the million $ Hwy between Quray and Silverton and the transmission went out about 1/2 mile from the summitt. Praise God we were by a pull out when the truck quit. We finally contacted Richard's towing at 6:00pm. He arrived at 9:00pm from Montrose about. 50 miles. He towed us for 15 miles. The charge was $1247.00. That was very discouraging that someone from the state of Colorado could be so greedy as to take such advantage of someone traveling through the state. Without the Texans traveling to Colorado, the state would not have near as much revenue. Hope everyone in Colorado is not that greedy. By the way Montrose Ford was a lifesaver as was D & G towing of Montrose.
