He came out and told me that not only was the water heater leaking were several other things wrong and it was gonna cost me $4500 to fix it. Water heater was practically brand new and unit sits right beside it so I the air-conditioning company and it was just a clogged pipe that was keeping the sump pump from pumping the water it had flooded in my basement had nothing to do with the water heater. He then made me pay restocking for the parts ordered in the tune of $600. My passed away less than six months ago, so it was me trying to handle this myself and I was taking complete advantage of he even offered to come work on the water heater by July and refund my restocking fee. This all happened in April or May here it is July 31st and I have had no problems with the water heater and I'll never use them again
