A great hidden treasure. Everyone was very helpful and they found what I came for. Reasonable prices. The selection and variety of nursery stock was very good. Lovely selection of indoor plants and pottery. Younger ferns were lush. Poinsettias have been started for the season. Worth the drive. read more

Traditionally wood is gifted during ones 5 year anniversary, however; I opted out for a fast spreading ground cover & adorable turtle statues. Richardson's is open year round & although the selection of plants available was sparse (this is only because its the end of the season) they offer a unique variety & quality that caught my eye when searching for plants. After visiting over eight different local greenhouses, Richardson's is the only one who offers weeping hemlocks or hemlocks in general (one of my favorite trees!) @ fair prices. They also had a wonderful selection of succulents, some of which I have never seen before & an adorable faerie garden room! The owner was incredibly polite & pleasant to speak with as she helped me solve a ground cover issue I had been struggling with. Unlike its competitors, it was a pleasant surprise to see the plants they sell included in the landscape. Most greenhouses only display seasonal plants outside of their shops but Richardson's was surrounded by a pleasing display of trees & shrubs.
