The owner is a smooth talker and at first seemed very helpful, but hold on to your wallet! We paid three months in advance for the 10% discount for a total of $135.00. Three days later when we brought our newly purchased 5th wheel in we found it was impossible to get it into to the space he allotted. We jockeyed that unit six ways to Sunday to get it to work but it just wasn't going to happen. The next day I called the owner who advised me he would charge $50 which is one month rent without the discount. We only tied the property up for 4 days! He said it was for his time because he took a couple hours to show us around and write up the paperwork. Seriously. What if we had come out there, talked his arm off and left without renting? Would he have sent us a bill then? Good luck with that. This man is all about the buck. He's not the normal fair business person I'm accustomed to dealing with here in Kentucky. Seems to me he has some Big City A**hole tendencies.. and oh by the way....he also has an insurance business. No thank you. We ended up taking our camper to Oh Kentucky Campground where the access is a breeze, the people are nice and it cost only $25.00 per month. I would not recommend Ft. Stay away! Stay away! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! I wish I could give them no stars. Where to begin. I stopped by during the week on my lunch last week at the 3rd street location and was greeted with a sign on the door telling me that if I wanted to talk to someone I needed to make an appointment by calling a cell phone number. Then, I stopped by again on Saturday to be greeted by two losers yelling at me from out of the open window, "We will not talk to you! Call the number on the sign! Can't you understand english?!? We won't talk to you!" This is how you run a business? I wanted information because I wanted to rent 2 lot spaces and a unit at least 10x20. I planned on paying the first 6 months in advance. Now that money will be going to another storage unit in Richmond. No matter the cost, I'll gladly pay a little more to deal with someone who knows how to run a business in a professional manner. read more
