Absolutely don't know why this place has such low ratings!! Came here on a Saturday night with my fiancé and stayed for almost 4 hours. Saturday is couples night so we both got in for $10. The club is impressive. The music was good. The girls were attractive and there were a variety. There was always at least 2 girls dancing at once. Sometimes as many as 5 at once. The only thing I can really complain about is the drinks. I drank 2 martinis and I'm pretty sure there was close to zero alcohol in them. Other complaint is that you have to buy a $5 wristband to go in the dance room -_- and then the dance is $25. Pretty excessive. Came here a few weeks ago with a couple of friends because none of us have been to a club like this and wanted to have the experience! We had a great time, the staff made us feel really safe and welcome even when some of the patrons were bothering us. Husband & I went for a spicy date. Husband hadn't been to a strip club in decades & I had never been. We went on a Tuesday evening at about 630 pm. Cover charge was $8. There were only about 10 other patrons there & 5-6 dancers . We were told it gets busier as the night goes on & that the number of dancers increases significantly. We were greeted by Scott, the manager. He gave us a full tour explained procedures, prices & answered all my questions. I was SO happy with that as I had many questions! One of the dancers, Tasmania, came & talked with us for a few minutes before going on stage- she was very nice & gorgeous - just not my type- haha! My husband wanted me to have a lap dance & wanted me to select the dancer ( such a hot idea! )The dancer I selected was Renee- petite, sexy, fun & flirty! We purchased a 3 lap dance for $100 package. I requested one dance for me/one dance for my husband. Renee sat us across the aisle from each other, so we could each watch the other partners lap dance. Renee provided each of us a very sexy lap dance, then we "tag teamed" husband for a few seconds before running out of time. The club itself seems very clean, well maintained, upscale. There are ladies in all shapes, sizes, colors & styles. Management seems very respectful toward them- even assisting each one down from the stage at the end of their set. Went a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend. The cover was $20 per person (they need to update the website because it clearly says Saturday is couple night 2x1 thats why we went there) went to bar and they wouldn't sell us alcohol because it was going to be 1am in like 20 mins (that was a shocker considering we're not from here lol we didn't know about that rule) we just got a water bottle that was $6.00 and enjoyed the night. The girls that night were really pretty, cant complain about that. The bathrooms are a CHAOS they're unisex and everyone is inside at the same time, as a female I felt extremely uncomfortable being alone inside with like 6 dudes cat calling me. For purely investigative purposes, I reluctantly went undercover as a desperate thirty-something on a rainy Friday night. Using the arbitrary alias "Dan MgLaughlin," my goal was to see if PT's was still the trashy fun I remember from my early 20's, or something else entirely. First, the cover charge is $10 for both men and women, which is a fantastic method to avoid having any girls enter the club. The main room is generic. Dark with various lighting effects, a primary and satellite stage, an oversized (and completely unnecessary) VIP area, a long bar and a second room for private dances. In an act of greed rivaling only the Thompson's Point parking situation, there's an additional $5 fee just to enter the back room for private dances. While dances at every strip club on earth top out at $20, naturally at PT's they are $25. Considering it was completely dead on a Friday night, maybe it's time to re-evaluate the business model? Angel was a very kind, petite brunette, working several nights a week to support herself through medical school. Coincidentally, April also recently joined the club to help pay her med school loans. Evidently, PT's supports more doctors than Sallie Mae. Drinks are New York prices, you'll consistently be harassed by girls you'd rather not talk to, and the clientele often resembles an expelled frat. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't frequent PT's; I just don't know your intentions. The odds are far better of getting lucky from scratch tickets. And you won't have to explain those awkward $2 bills. read more

I come from the older Days..."Mark's Place" when his standards were much much higher. He would do introductions of the ladies who were dressed to the hiltz! Im not trying to be insulting but there are "Ladies" dancing who do not belong on Stage....It has changed ownership a few times ...Each time I got to know the owners...until now...It's a real culture shock from what it use to be. Drinks are way over priced, and the Lap Dances need some "Structure Changes" The Ladies tend to hustle drinks a little too much...and When the day comes I have to wear a wrist band....because this labels you a target for the ladies ...they dont like asking constantly...25.00...plus the 5.00 is way too much....Sorry but this is just my opinion which seems to be...many agree... read more

went to RICK'S. on a whim. while the manager was very nice. and he was nice enough to say it was last call, it was loud, so maybe I didn't hear him correctly, but was not aware that we only had 15 minutes to finish the drinks that we bought at 1:55 AM. so when I went to the bar, she said it was last call so get all the drinks that you can, so I assume that was last for drinks, but didn't know that I had to finish those drinks within 15 minutes. bartender did not let me know that I had 15 minutes to finish and let me get three beers and two mixed drinks. I got distracted and forgot my card at the bar.. my friend ended up grabbing it from them. when we left, I noticed that a $85 charge was made to my card. now, I know that those drinks couldn't have added up to that so they took it upon themselves to give themselves tip on top could've not been more than a $50 drink order. I'm going back today and I will ask them why I was charged so much. I will give them a better review if they make this up and charge me the correct price for the drinks and allow me to decide to tip and cover the cover charge tonight but to charge that much not being completely upfront about the fact that I had a very little time to consume the drinks and decide to tip them selves what had to be around 20 dollars, giving themselves a 40% tip I'm pretty disappointed in the fact that they took advantage of that. I just gave them my card and charge whatever they felt like. I will give them an amazing review if they let me in and no charge as I was charged $20 at the door. also I made eye contact with a girl that I would've paid for a lap and she walked right by me and pretend I wasnt there. apparently because I had given my money to my friend to hold on to, she just assumed that I wouldn't have the money to pay for one. All in all not a great experience. I will say that they did find my friends wallet that she left in the place. That's why I'm not leaving it one star. read more

This is happy hour according to the sign, I should have been charged $3 for a well rum and coke because it was happy hour, I immediately checked my bank account and saw the charge for $12.19 for the $3 rum and coke. The only good thing about this place is the dancers, they're amazing, it's too bad that management doesn't do anything to support them. The Rick's buyout was a horrible idea, all the prices have gone up and they now charge an extra 33% fee if you pay with a credit card for a champagne room. What's that 33% for, especially if it doesn't exist when you pay with cash? Are the managers just pocketing it on top of the gratuity that management pushes you to give them(and why am I paying management gratuity to begin with)? read more

Been three nights in a row, first night I shelled a decent amount and then waited for a particular chick to eventually get done the two different stage dances, took a while to get it (whatever). Learned not to wait on the Second night put out more money and talked to security who agreed to help me get a dance, sadly only got 2 dances in before they kick me out, on the third night I showed up about 2 hours before they closed with a even bigger stack of 20s and for whatever reason couldn't get a dance... while there is MANY dancers standing or sitting around. I decided to take my money and leave. $10-20 cover charge, throwing some Bill's and it's a struggle to get a service they're supposed to. I went in during an afternoon. 3 girls working. 1 I didn't care for, who was the only one who came to my table. I tipped the other 2 on the stage twice (more than a dollar folks if that is what you are thinking), and they never came to my table to even say thanks. They sat with Club Regulars I am guessing, would go up on stage for their songs, then come down off the stage and return to the same regulars. So if you are able to became a regular, it may be ok. Me and my friend came from Rhode Island and we're staying in North Conway for a snowmobiling trip and decided to go out one night. We drove and hour and fifteen minutes to get to this strip club. We were shot down at the door because my friend had a paper ID because his was getting renewed. He is 23 and I'm 22, both IDs from RI and we even showed them credit cards to prove it and we still got denied. An Hour and Fifteen minutes to come spend money with legal identification and nothing. This place smelt bad just by walking in the front door, the security was rude the manager or owner who ever it was that we talked to had absolutely no respect and all the girls seemed dull. I'm not in Portland, Oregon anymore...that much I can discern just by going to Portland, Maine's only (seriously?!?) strip club. For want of better birthday activities I paid a visit to PT's for my birthday in late April. Admission is $8, but they were nice enough to let a birthday boy get in for free. (Not a single strip club I went to in Oregon had an admission fee, sigh). That reason alone grants it a second star. I didn't know what to expect afterwards, but I figured that a strip club must be more than a topless bar (I was wrong - sometimes I forget how prudish and puritanical New England still is). I wasn't exactly expecting it to be like in the real Portland (i.e. the one in Oregon) where many a stripper will discuss queer and third (or is it now fourth?)-wave feminist theory as she sticks her goodies in your face for four minutes, but I guess I was kinda hoping that if I'm going to pay $25 for a lap dance, I should at least get my money's worth. After two (ridiculously overpriced) drinks, I quit while ahead and left unsated. Will not be back. read more

I was there with a few friends we had been sitting there for 2 hours with our masks off because two of us us drinks and one did not.. after mangers coming up and speaking with all of us asking if we wanted drinks including the girl who wasn't drinking.. some dude who was not a bouncer or manger comes up and starts yelling at this girl... she couldn't her him because the music was sooo loud, she thought he was making a joke about not drinking, so when she laughed he kicked her out and threatened to call the cops on her for not wearing a mask!! But she didn't hear him, and if she could hear she gladly would have put it back on! So after she was kicked out the manger said she would let her back in, but the bouncer at the door lied and said she gave him a hard time, when all she did was ask why she was kicked out. Once she found out she said okay and walked to her car!! But was not allowed back in because she "gave the bouncer a hard time" I am so unimpressed with how this whole situation turned out, it could have been handle much better!! read more

Had the pleasure of having a dancer fart in front of four of us (2 girls, 2guys) while she was on stage and we were sitting next to it. The smell matched her face, and the rest of the girls there. Next dancer was begging for money like a child, was angry we weren't tipping like we had been but we were still recovering from having fecal dust shoved down our throats. That next dancer said to "get the fuck away from my stage" and threw a towel at us. If you have ever been to a strip club before you will be disappointed at best.
