As of December 2021 Rick's Ringside was bought and is operating under new owners RIck's is Legit It's clean and friendly. I have gone there with friends and it has a great vibe! There is free pool, outdoor patio, and great pub grub The Garland District has an eclectic energy and THE NEW Rick's is a great addition to this fun gem of a neighborhood that Spokane Washington has to offer. I've always come to ricks and had a great time. I have always had excellent service and engagement with the staff. I'm was so disappointed coming in today the female bartender was completely disconnected. Like rude and disconnected. She sat and ate her yogurt and played on her phone the entirety of my visit. If she is the regular bartender at ricks it explains why it's empty during the day??? She has not asked me if I want another drink, a food menu or even how my current drink is. I work at a very high volume bar much like ricks and if I neglected to take care of any of our guest it would not be a comfortable conversation with my boss. I never do this in fact I've never done this but honestly worst service ever. Sorry guys ditch this gal she is was really terrible. Being a bartender myself at a well established bar this kinda of service would have never gone over well. read more

The place reeks! The draft beer was warm, the men's room was dirtier and smellier than the bar, there was dried puke on the outdoor patio and the owner has his own reserved stool at the bar... One can only wonder what the owner and regulars are like. read more

Went for super Bowl only about 20 customers in the place not busy 2 to 3 waitresses or barmaids whatever they call them we walked in and sat down and waited almost 15 minutes and nobody even came to greet us they helped everybody sitting at the bar which was about 6 to 8 people but did not come out from behind the bar so we left will not return no customer service read more

Pretty solid local dive bar with some decent bar food options / happy hour specials and friendly bartenders, usually not a huge crowd outside weekends and sports events. They don't show most fights or any out-of-market sports games though, which was a strange discovery for anyplace deemed 'ringside' read more

Beers were warm (both bottles and draft). Bartenders were not so friendly either. Probably won't be back if I can help it.

This place was good ten years ago but the place has gone way downhill. It looked like vomit in the lady's sink and the beer was warm. Gross overpriced food. The cheese was old on the nachos. read more

Karaoke every Saturday night. Awesome Bloody Mary. The sign said "Best in Town". Our 9'' pizza wasn't half bad. Nothing special but nothing sucked. My favorite - chalkboard in the bathroom stall. In case visitors doodle on the wall? I wrote "Sexy D was here." read more

My husband and I stopped by on a Friday afternoon for lunch and some pool. There were a lot of pool tables available and a ping pong table too, which was cool. It wasn't very busy, and we were able to get our beers quickly. My husband ordered a bacon burger, which was $10.50 and totally not worth it, I would say it was more of a $6 burger for sure. It was pretty dingy and the carpet was worn all the way down in a lot of spots. The backroom you go by on the way to the bathrooms was also really cluttered and dirty looking. I would say if you don't want food and just want to play pool this place works, but otherwise nothing special at all. read more

My wife and I stopped in here the other day for a pizza and a beer during a Saturday afternoon shopping trip in the Garland district. At the first look the tables were clean and we were greeted quickly. The bar was quite empty, so we had the just about the full attention of the bartender, with the exception of the odd other patron. I had ordered a beer and my wife had ordered an ice tea. The bartender had returned with a glass of liquid that resembled a glass of tea. Upon the first sip my wife had sent it back. The bartender asked what was wrong and my wife stated that the tea was instant and would like to order a beer instead. The bartender did not have any issue and the drink was quickly replaced. While we waited for our food I took a look around and seen that there were half a dozen pool tables, ping-pong, and darts. The one draw back that I did see about this place was the old stained carpet that was around the pool tables, and it smelled like stale beer. Our pizza was brought just a few minutes later fresh from their brick oven and was fairly decent with plenty of toppings. This not worth the drive out of the way to go get a pie and a beer, but if I am in the Garland district and am in the mood for a beer and a pizza, I could stop here again. read more

They made the news this week for making racist comments to a customer and refusing service because "this is not an immigration center". Can't say I am surprised. It's a bro bar with terrible service. My friends and I went here once to grab a quick bite before a movie. We made a plan to order food right away because we were cutting it close. We had no intention of ordering drinks. A very pissed off looking waiter approached and asked us about drinks. We very nicely explained we did not want drinks because of the movie and asked to place a food order due to being short on time. He snapped at us that he is only taking drink orders so what are we drinking. We refused to order drinks so he stomped away in a bad mood without serving us. We were shocked but waited. A long time later grumpy pants allowed us to order food. We ordered fries or something because we were out of time to order real food. A long time later they came. The movie was starting so we ate a few bites and left. Didn't get to finish. We never went back. We laugh about the mean waiter every time we pass by. read more
