We were able to get a brand new one 2025 Polaris General smoothest ride you'd ever find here pictures from beginning to end when we tried it till we bought it. Reminiscing about my vacation to Maine I had to say that renting two UTV's was one of our highlights. I was so happy to have found this business. We had call several places that were 1-2 hours away. When we called Houlton Power Sports the lady that spoke to us was wonderful. She stated although they were completely booked they had two that we could rent if we visited quickly. We rented 2 UTV's for four hours. The ATV/UTV trails is right across the street. We were able to cross with the UTV's and get on the trail quickly. In the beginning we did get a little lost, we called and they came with their UTV and got us back on track. It was basically our fault since they do give you a map and go over the trails. They do state that you can download an APP that would also help you with the trails. Since we rented for four hours we wanted to make sure that we took trails that would get us back on time. We crossed a nice wood bridge, the scenery was absolutely amazing. We actually found a store that sold food and we stopped to eat. The gas stations are close by to fill the tank and take it back. For us 4 hours was more than enough for us. We had a blast, did some fun roads and it was enough. People there are wonderful! We would definitely rent a UTV there again. They supply helmets, I felt safe and they take great care of their units. read more

I just had a wonderful experience at Houlton Power Sports(HPS) in Houlton Maine. In short their people were nothing short of hospitable when I showed up on their door step with a limping Polaris RS1 UTV. I was on an UTV tour of northern Maine when my RS1 began to exhibit an on going intermittent issue which caused my machine to go into limp mode (limits the speed to 25MPH). From the trail I called HPS, described the problem, and they told me to come right on in. Forty-five miles later, drove into HPS and then entered their facility. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and asked if they could help me. I was directed to the service department promptly. While waiting at the service desk for a service manger, I was asked again by more than one person if I could be helped. This of course was quite comforting. When the service manager was available, I explained my sad situation. Not only was the lady sympathetic to my RS1 issues she was just as sympathetic about my vacation woes. She immediately told me to drive my RS1 to the service center entrance where a technician, Kyle, was waiting for me. He asked me what was wrong with the RS1 and about any symptoms that I had observed. He said he would get right on it. Fast forward 45 minutes later he not only diagnosed the problem but also had fixed it. My friends and I, to say the least, were extremely great full. I tried to give Kyle a generous tip but he would have none of it. That is a man with a lot of integrity. I told him that at the very least I would give HPS a generous review. So i bought a 2010 hisun 800 off them in 2020. Had to wait weeks for it to go in the shop. They sold it to me with no 4x4 drive shaft and no oil in the engine. 1 ride and it over heated and blew up. Most expensive ride I've taken in a while.. read more
