Ridgeview Tree Service started a tree removal in December 2025. They gave us a price stating they try to help out in the community. My husband and I are disabled and on social security so we were greatful for the consideration. They arrived very late in the day, after setup worked on tree for less than hour and a half. It was getting dark and they said they would be back in morning. Their work rope hanging from tree, and they never came back. I have reached out and after several months will be starting small claims process. We believe we were a quick extra cash job because christmas was days away. We paid them what they asked and added additional cash in appreciation. In need of help we made a cash, no reciept, tax free arrangement. But texts are reciepts in court. They were fast, thorough, courteous and professional all the way. Matt knows trees. Great work ethic taking care to do the job right. Very impressed with the process of felling a large dead tree. They mulched and raked up all the debris leaving the yard in great shape. Great communication scheduling the job and he showed up when he said he would. To say we were not disappointed in the much needed work done by Matt, his son & Dad would be an understatement. We have two large silver maple trees in our back yard that needed much attention. They were trimmed to perfection, as were our red maple & birch trees in our front yard. The big job was taking down our large sunburst locus in the front yard. We recently purchased a house in Lewiston that came with a very large and unmaintained honey locust tree in the backyard. We couldn't be more pleased with the job done by Matt and his crew! We have a very old weeping willow tree in our yard that downed one of its huge upper branches during heavy winds. We called around for estimates, and Ridgeview was the one with the quickest response and fairest estimate. 4 days later, they were able to come out and tackle the job in 2-1/2 hours! This included Matt climbing high up in the huge willow tree to saw off the hanging branch (fascinating to watch!), while his dad and his son hauled off the pieces to the chipper, and raked any remaining debris. Then they moved on to the pine tree that had toppled over weeks before, chopped it up and cleaned up that whole mess. It was a hot, steamy morning and sweat poured off of everyone, but Matt did not hesitate when my husband asked him to chop off some huge dead branches from another tree, not included in the purview of the estimated job. We were so relieved that the work was done. As senior citizens, it is extremely frustrating to be unable to do work like this, so finding a gem like Ridgeview Tree Service is immeasurably valuable in our lives. read more

You won't get better service anywhere! The owner Matt is very knowledgeable and great to work with. They are reasonably priced and conscience. I manage multiple apartment complexes and have worked with many other companies. None of them compare to Ridgeview.
