One of our new favorites places. It certainly helped that it's a little further away from the main drag and is definitely COVID friendly. Nice little patio outside is a good place to have a drink. The drinks were very good but the company was even better. This place has a great neighborhood bar feel that's very welcome. We went for brunch, made an 11am reservation but got there a little early and they were able to seat us. Everyone was super friendly and overall it was great service but they need to work on the pancakes. They were not great, like not good actually :( the sausage and bacon were also a little overcooked, but my girlfriend got the omelet and it looked pretty good, and the breakfast potatoes were banging. And you get a comp mimosa or bloody with meal so there's that. read more

It is immaterial if you comped my meal. You should have done so. It was done only after I brought the meal's short comings to your attention. Clearly there was a third of the meat which was all visibly fat resting in a pool of grease. Perhaps you should rethink the cut of pork you are using. Is there no quality control in your kitchen? Your statement about being short handed is convenient, however you didn't address the waiter's issue with him running his hands through his hair. That was a big turn off. I stand by my statements. Still my go to bar/restaurant staying in Rehoboth then It is the go to place for great food at reasonable prices good size portions. On this visit went several nights & each meal was wonderful attentive service & cooked to perfection a must try is the stuffed meatloaf, seared scallops, pork chops & of course the ultimate Rigby burger. The grilled Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, Cole slaw fresh made, fries, & tots were all wonderful. We left full & satisfied each night. I am extremely Unpleased with my dining experience here!! Extremely!! I given them a 1 star but feel that's overrating them! I had a pork shoulder dish served with a gravy sauce, The dish was not properly prepared before it arrived at the table. It was served without vegetables or gravy. The waiter apologized for the vegetables and said that they would be right out. We had to request to gravy twice. The pork was grossly over cooked, it was like eating plastic! The gravy was need to wash the meat down. What a waste of money! Ive been told dishes here are a hit or miss! This was a miss. My overall impression was they really didn't care, they weren't apologetic, they were just getting the food out there! Rehoboth and Dewey have several excellent restaurants. Best little secret at Rehoboth. The food is fantastic. The entrees...sides...pasta dishes. Had a party of 15 and everyone loved the food. The tuna was perfect and so was the seafood diablo. The service and management was top notch. Due to the quality of the food, it was way too easy to get a large table. The atmosphere might be the reason...a little poorly lit, but the food more then makes up for it. Hands down the best meal of the week. read more

I had always liked this place before , BUT, tonight 2 out of a table for 6 had the worst meal ever. We ordered pork that was a dry tasteless, un chewable slab. It was so dried. It should have never have been served. The worst was that the waiter didn't care. He knew when he served it. He did say he was sorry after the check was paid. No real remorse. Great experience here. It was our first time out since COVID hit and Rigby's did everything to make us feel safe and welcome. The food was great and the happy hour drink prices were so good ($4 Dogfish 90-minute), when I received the tab I thought a round or two was missing. My wife and I decided to visit Rigby's based on several positive Yelp Reviews - we have found Yelp to be very accurate based on people's opinions. On approach to Rigby's, it was not attractive on the outside or what was expected on the decor on the inside. It ended there at great service, good prices for Rehoboth and what would be excellent meals. My wife had the braised pork shoulder with Brussels Sprouts and Sweet Potatoes and I had the Seared Tuna with String Beans and Slaw. Both main courses were excellent and side dishes very good - slaw was the only item that could have been better. Great choice for the money - just ignore the visuals as you approach the restaurant and lower your expectations on the decor inside. Well worth the quality of food at the end. read more

So I admit I am "a regular" at Rigbys - Sunday night pork chop special can not be beaten - Wednesday burger night is the best in rehoboth - tonight I order a burger RARE - it comes close to well done - I flag the waiter - his response is "what do you want me to do about it" - manager comes and offers to re-do the plate - and asks permission to re-do the entire plate - Kudos to Rigby management - continues to meet/exceed expectations! I am not even sure where to begin... we walked in on a Monday and should have turned around when not a single other person was in the dining room - in the middle of the summer - in a vacation town. Not a good sign. They did offer to store our strollers and the waiter was pleasant. We did have a group of 7, but nothing we ordered was complicated. It took forever. Only beer options were a few macro-offerings by the bottle. When the food finally came, it was terrible. I had the flounder piccata and it was not a piccata. It was some kind of a white cream sauce with a few capers peppered throughout. It wasn't inedible, but it wasn't good. No one out of the seven of us had anything good to say about their meals or overall experience. Crab cakes were somehow dry and room temperature at the same time. With so many other offerings in Rehoboth, go elsewhere. read more

My first time to Rigby's for dinner, and certainly not my last. I usually dine out alone, and in doing so, I often find my service lacking. Not here. I was greeted promptly, and with a genuine smile. The server was attentive without being hovering or imposing, which is apparently difficult for other restaurants to manage. This server was impeccable. I ordered the Rigby's Burger, and it was superb; a patty prepared to specification and by hand (by all appearances and tastes). The pickled red onions were a wonderful and delicious touch, without being overpowering. The bacon was crisp, not undercooked and chewy. I chose Rigby's based on another rating site's ratings for our brunch party of 10 after our wedding. We arrived and were seated promptly and the complimentary mimosa's came next. The soup - Curried squash was excellent, I could eat 3 or 4 bowls probably. The salmon crepe my wife ordered was tasty too. I ordered an entree of Eggs Benedict with smoked hollandaise which was perfect w/ the best asparagus and perfectly cooked potatoes. My Mom's friend ordered steak and eggs and the steak was so tender, just succulent. The baked french toast my wife ordered with strawberry compote was delicious and the chorizo was very tasty as well. The service here is top notch, not one complaint - everyone in my family and friend all remarked how excellent the brunch was - a perfect experience. We had a mediocre experience at Rigby's. The signature dish, the bolognese, was flavorless. The flounder piccata was very good, but the crab cakes were average. We wanted to try the key lime pie, made in house, but it was being baked as we sat there (hard to believe on a Saturday night). There is no kids's menu, and they don't really try to accommodate children all that much. I suppose the place gets crowded later in the evening, but we arrived to an empty restaurant at 6:00 pm. Don't overlook this great restaurant at the beach. I've eaten here many times in all seasons and never had a bad meal. Crab cakes, fettuccine Bolognese, scallops, salads, etc.--all great. Good, inexpensive food and a wide variety of options to choose from. It's not the fanciest, but you can get a bottle of wine for $20, plus an entree with two sides for well under that. It is a nice alternative to some of the more expensive spots in Rehoboth if you are looking for a solid, reasonably priced meal. However, I did not appreciate being harrassed in the mens' room ("Hey, hey, let me look!") by a couple of guys. There is no place for that, and it did negatively color my experience there. read more

Specifically sustained unsmiling glares from other customers and the waiter never once offering a food menu or drink refill. Recently had dinner at this fine establishment and it was excellent. The flat iron steak was to die for. So good I went back for brunch on Sunday. It too was wonderful, great French toast done with raison bread. This is just a fun spot that happens to have great food, great staff and very friendly clientele.
