We've lived in our home for five years and honestly aren't sure the dryer vent had ever been cleaned. They found a massive buildup of lint--so much that it completely filled their shop vac. It was definitely overdue! They went above and beyond: cleaned the vent thoroughly, cleared the area behind the dryer, cleaned out the lint trap, and even reset the dryer's blockage indicator. They also replaced the dryer-to-wall exhaust hose with a new fire-resistant one, which was a great bonus for safety. Professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. Lo and behold, the new unit developed a refrigerant leak and stopped cooling when it was 105 degrees today - and we had guests arriving today. There were a number of complications as their repair techs have been very busy, however, Katie did an amazing job working with us today. She started with us at 7am to coordinate a technician visit. There were complications on their end with sourcing the refrigerant and originally was going to be until tomorrow to finalize the job. We explained that this was going to cost us revenue due to reimbursing guests. She took that to heart, personally went to their storage facility to procure the materials, and then coordinated the work this evening. And to top it off, she called just now at 8:30pm to close the loop and insure we knew it was fixed and tested. KATIE IS A SUNLOGIX ROCKSTAR... please give her and the team a big raise. Once the decision was made the process was smooth and seamless. Caitlin was always available to answer questions and her understanding of her product was impressive. It was also impressive that she understood her competition and could address many things we were told by others. While Sunlogix was not the cheapest bid, we felt that their being local was worth a small premium. On the installation side the crew was terrific. They showed up on time, they were efficient with their time, cleaned up well and one could not ask for a better installation experience. They were great at answering questions. I am really pleased that I was referred to Patrick & Right Away Air Conditioning. He was my second AC Co. to come to my home and give me a bid. I hired him on the spot !! Patrick isn't into heavy sales (the big AC companies have a "sales closer") Patrick gave me a bid of 2 options and told me the truth. He can repair rather then replace the AC !! (the other companies only offered to install a new AC, as to repair would be like putting a bandaid on an arterial bleed; after over 2 hours at my home supposedly servicing the air conditioner. NOT.) Patrick cleaned and serviced the outside unit, by hand and installed/repaired the AC motor. We also discovered the unit wasn't wired properly, Patrick repaired that. The work was spot on and educational. He thought he needed to clean the coils inside the house, we discovered a pad had fallen across the air vent flow. He repaired that and told me the coils didn't need to be cleaned. Honest. Patrick assured me he will be to the house IF I ever have any future problems, that day, even if it is at 10 pm. How truly wonderful to interact with a HONEST company like Right Away Air Conditioning. The work is excellent ! My AC is working great now. Patrick is personable, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. I hope by reading this review you will give this company a try. 20 plus years in business in the Coachella Valley, a local and the best service I have had in a long time. Recently, I returned home from work Friday evening, about 16:00 (Military time), and found that my Central A/C unit was blowing hot air. Without hesitation, I immediately called the office of Right Away Air Conditioning and the owner, Patrick, answered the phone. I explained the issue and asked, since it was late in the day and they would be closing soon, if someone from his team could come over tomorrow and conduct a diagnostic test. To my surprise, he stated that he would have someone over within a couple of hours and further instructed that I should turn the A/C system off. Shortly, to my surprise, the owner, Patrick, was at my door with his tools to conduct the diagnostic check himself. Within minutes, he determined that I had, wait for it...a blown fuse. The triple digit heat in our Coachella Valley had reached about 123 degrees that day. He changed the fuses and litterally solved the problem. In addition, he did not even charge me for the service call and/or even for the replacement fuses. As a widow, the spouse of a military veteran, and a senior citizen, words cannot express my appreciation. I am eternally grateful for knowing such a dedicated merchant. I am the owner of Southwest Veterinary Clinic. Our A/C went out when the temp was 110+ during business hours. Being a veterinary clinic, not only was that a troublesome issue for my staff and my clients coming in for appointments, but also drastic for my hospitalized patients. I was referred to Patrick and was truly amazed in hearing back from him in a short amount of time for starters (not waiting hours for a return call) but also that he was able to be here to check out the problem within an hours time. Talk about promptness. He was able to run the diagnostic and fix the issue within another hour and the a/c was back on and running beautifully. I'm pleased to have on 3 hours go by from time the problem started to time it was fixed. Saving me nearly $2,000 in what what could have been lost revenue if I had to close down for the day. Patrick is the most phenomenal service person I've encountered in years. Our AC stopped working, called Right Way, Patrick found & replaced the fried capacitor in minutes. A few days later, the AC went out completely during the 120 degree weather. We were travelling out of cell & internet range, so the tenant couldn't reach us (so he called a lawyer!), then found Patrick's card we had left in the house. Patrick found the compressor grounded, but had to hear from us before proceeding with a new installation. He went out of his way in these busy times for AC guys and brought over a room AC so at least the tenant could survive. When we got back in cell service, contacted Patrick, he installed a new unit the next day. Great service! Knowledgeable! Great guy! When you live in the desert, it is essential to have a company that is dependable for your A/C needs. Last night I noticed my home getting warmer and when it hit 85 degrees I called Right Away, whom I have used in the past. Patrick, the owner, called me back Right Away and 45 minutes later he was at my door with a smile. It was dark on the side of the house where my A/C unit is, but he got right to work. Within 30 minutes I could feel the room getting cooler and Patrick came back in and told me it was up and running. My compressor had broken and he replaced it. I was amazed that he had the part with him and it was done so quickly and efficiently. Just showed up-I was getting in the shower- no appt. thought I had 2 air conditioners outside. he only had a flashlight less than 1 inch in diameter. would not listen to me-air temp 79 when he showed up- 91 degrees when he left and decided not to finish. tried to replace my old filter by folding a larger one to make smaller. when I called the "boss" he said that's ok to fold filters instead of using the right side. then decided that they would reschedule. then after problem they said I was rude and wouldn't let them work. I provide a powerful light from the start to use. after no filling Freon and didn't even close up the conditioner panels. boss would answer calls. a manager would have come out!!! read more

Patrick at Right Away AC is THE BEST. He's very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. We had an issue with the AC unit in our new home the other day when it was 115 degrees! We were melting. I contacted Right Away AC via the website form at 8 PM that night. Within an hour a service call was scheduled for 9 AM the next morning via iCloud calendar. Patrick called me right before his arrival to confirm the appointment and his ETA. I love that he is so responsive and organized. Patrick was able to diagnose the problem and provide a solution very quickly...he even gave me a good science lesson on how AC systems work. We have used Right Away AC on several occasions and he is a true professional. They show up when promised and will be there even when it is 100 degrees and the A/C goes out after normal hours. My A/C went out on a Sunday night and I called Patrick to come out and look at it. He arrived within an hour. After a series of tests he concluded that I needed a new compressor. OUCH! They were very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. They worked in 113 degree weather out side, and about 135 degrees in the attic! The presentation, inspection, and proposal by John Daps yesterday was low keyed and very informative- and turned out to be $10,000 cheaper than our previous proposal- and he had his crew here by 9:00 AM. Zeke, Arron- and I'm sorry I can't remember the other member- were fantastic- they explained everything, very efficient- and got my cell App set up to interface with the new Control module. My electrician had come out to diagnose why the fan on my A/C condenser wasn't turning on--even though there was power getting to it. Despite their efforts, they couldn't get it working. Last night, I called Jose--and I am so glad I did. He showed up right on time, dressed professionally in a company-logoed shirt, and immediately got to work. Within minutes, he accurately diagnosed the issue, checked the Freon levels, inspected the entire system, and got the fan running again. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently he resolved the problem. Thanks to Jose, I finally have cool air again--and a clear mind! I have a short term rental in Palm Desert and the other night my guest called me to tell me the A/C wasn't blowing at all. I called Paul Mitchell's Air Care (at 9pm by the way), and I was told they could have a tech there within 20 minutes! And, the after hours additional charge was reasonable as well. When the tech arrived, he was able to fix the issue immediately. From Bree in the office to all the techs, everyone here is top notch. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. Our 4-year-old AC system went out the day I brought my husband home from the hospital after having…read morecancer surgery. The company that installed it ghosted us even though they had been out here from Feb. through April trying to fix what they said was a leak. So my daughter did a lot of research to find this trustworthy company, All Day Heating and Cooling INC. Dominick came out and found an incorrect installation of the coil and evidence of shoddy past repairs (e.g., parts taped back together). His company had loaned out all of their portable AC units to other customers, so he was able to get permission to purchase a new portable unit for us to use overnight until the repairs could be made the following day. That never happened with our former company. Israel and his team came in around 8am the next morning and took pictures before, during, and after the repairs were made. They were there at least 7-8 hours installing the new coil, making repairs, and cleaning the compressor, as well as running tests to make sure there were no leaks and that everything was working well. Since Dominick had written a detailed report about all of the problems he had found in our HVAC system, we will use the pictures Israel took and Dominick's report to go after our former dishonest HVAC company. By the way, Dominick said the same corporation that bought our former company has also bought up many of the familiar AC companies in the desert. So when people get bids from various companies, they are often owned by that same corporation. Beware! Dominick texted me yesterday to make sure our system is working well in all of this heat. I was so impressed! All Day Heating and Cooling INC is honest and has integrity. They communicated effectively throughout the process, were punctual, took care of our house and cleaned up well, and did excellent work supported by photos. I am thankful to have worked with this small, local, family-owned business. So glad to know that they have a tech on duty 24/7!
