We arrived around 8am on a Sunday and stayed until closing at 9:30. The area was full of vendors with apparel, souvenirs, handmade German items, fresh fish, treats, veggies, fruits, and more. I enjoyed having a smoked salmon fish sandwich for breakfast. Highly recommend this on the water experience.

There are lots of places to sit and gather throughout the main floor. Be sure to walk through the whole place before deciding on something to eat. Some stalls feel hidden or can be easily overlooked. I decided on Mezze & Liebe, the Turkish-Arabic stall that smelled heavenly as I walked by. I ordered a tamir roll with falafel, which came out hot and fast. It was delicious, and well priced too. I had no issues finding a table and enjoyed the buzz of other groups around me while I ate my meal. Their "free wifi" did not work, and I did not get a chance to see their bathrooms (though I saw signs). Over all though, this is a great spot to visit when wandering Breman's Altstadt!

We were there between lunch and dinner on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. After perusing all the options, I needed to try the Lu & Su vegan ice cream. You choose the flavor and he carefully mixes your choice and cuts them into rolled strips. Part of the experience is the preparation. I selected the menu item called Mr. Lu. To clarify, he asked me, "The green one?" That was a good way to describe it because it had matcha and fresh mint. Like really fresh...he picked it off the mint plant on the counter. It was really good and not too sweet. The consistency was a little thicker than ice cream but that's the experience. There was plenty of seating and natural light. Good job, Bremen, that a place like this came to be.
