I went back for my next appointment and not only did she not know who I was, she could not find the appointment, called me the wrong name. She had not even talked to her so-called expert so she told me she could schedule something but the expert was really busy and only worked weekends. I was pissed. I had heard someone else say she would use TurboTax, so I asked for my documents and told her I would do turbo tax. Turns out I just needed a form and had to follow the IRS instructions. It was easy. And I am getting a refund instead of paying which is what I was worried about. DO NOT USE H&R BLOCK. I could do your taxes better than them.

B in Port Angeles, WA…read more98362: At a little after 3:00p.m. today (4/20/21), I stopped by this branch unannounced, and I asked for some help. My family is currently coping with an impending death in the family, and my mother needs help filing her 2020 taxes. I spoke with a wonderful representative today named Crystal Liljegreen, who first offered her condolences for what my family is going through, and then she very kindly offered to help me look through my mother's stored tax documents to help me discern exactly which documents needed to be filed. This was a very impressive and helpful display of great customer service: I could tell that this branch of H&R Block is very, very busy at the moment, and for Crystal to take the time out of her day to help me organize the needed documents for my mother was touching and very much appreciated. Needless to say, my family and I are going through a confusing, stressful time at the moment, and it was so refreshing and reassuring for Crystal to selflessly help us at a time of need. Another thing I would like to mention is, when I came into the branch, some customers were already present who, in my opinion, were treating the staff quite rudely: they were speaking in unnecessarily raised voices, and from what I could hear, they were complaining about things that were most definitely not the fault of any of the staff. Despite this unfair treatment, the staff at this branch of H&R Block remained completely professional: they worked with the people, nobody on staff lost their composure, and they accommodated the rude customers with understanding and helpfulness. I myself work at a job where I have to bear the brunt of a lot of unnecessary anger from customers, even though it's regarding things that are not my fault and that I do not have any control over, so I absolutely understand what that kind of situation feels like: I was more than impressed with how the staff at this branch of H&R Block addressed and remedied the situations. It's a stressful time right now, and from what I understand, taxes and filing are going through a particularly stressful period; despite this, again, I was completely impressed with the staff at this branch and how they handled the adverse situations that they were experiencing at the time, including taking the time to help me with my preliminary questions. I have nothing but the highest praise for the Port Angeles, WA, branch of H&R Block, and I wanted to recognize their wonderful efforts and help. Thank you, Brendan Withey

I typed the address for the bank into Google Maps, looking for the ATM. Turns out it's on the…read morestreet side of the building, and so is not 'drive-up'. I pulled up to the regular drive-thru window and the teller was so sweet and ready to help this gen-z'er who hadn't done banking with an actual human in a long time (because anxiety). She got my withdrawal taken care of using my ID and debit card, and I was out of there within a few minutes.

Good parking right next door. Shorter hours on Saturday. Probably would have given them five stars but we refinanced our house here and it was a fiasco. Loan officer less than competent. Happy with everything else though and loan finally turned out ok, they even pay us a kickback at the end of the year for having our mortgage payment automatically deducted from our chase checking account. Oh, and the online banking system and bill pay are very good.
