I understand they have business they must conduct (they will wash your clothes for you, if you wish), however they should leave at least 1 washer and dryer open for walk-in customers. If we left our clothes to be washed, they wouldn't get our clean clothes back to us until mid-morning on Monday. That didn't work since we were departing early morning Monday.

You're given An option to have your clothes serviced by staff or yourself. There is a minimal price difference but a larger time difference. If you're not in a rush the staff will wash, dry and fold your laundry by days end. If your time is tight you can load a washer and time the cycle until it's done. Put your clothes in a dryer then wait for them to dry. Easy. Staff is delightful and very helpful. I rather do my own so I came back after a 35-45 minute wash and then came back after the 45-55 minute dry cycle. I just shopped and had lunch in between cycles. It was very convenient and well managed. Other travelers were taking advantage of their services too. Highly recommend this gem.

Moreover the clothes seem to come back without that over-powering dry-cleaning smell, and for some reason feel cleaner than they usually do. They operate an electronic registration system so there's minimal chance of your laundry getting mixed up or confused and the staff there are pleasant and efficient. Since the time I dropped in a silk dress which had had coke spilled all over it and then was left in a heap for a week (so the stain could really take hold) before I dropped it to the cleaners, and they returned it to me practically sparkling, I've been committed to using this cleaner!

One time I forgot to take my clothes out of the dryer and had left a shirt inside and when I pulled it out it was beyond recognition it was wrinkly that I actually washed it again in hopes that the wrinkles would come out. No luck, but then I found myself stuck without anything to wear and I decided feck it I'll just wear it to work! The women at work couldn't get over what a great shirt it was and they love that wrinkled look that some clothes come with! So needless to say I was more than excited to find out that Clean City does ironing and at a very reasonable €1.50 per item I can't complain. It's much better to let someone else stand over a hot metal object to make your clothes a bit neater looking!
