Waited 20 minutes before the waiter came over and asked for the order. By that time, I had already picked out what i wanted to eat. I tried ordering the food and the waiter stopped me and told me I MUST order a drink first. Although nothing rude was spoken, the waitress had a horrible attitude and made me and my family feel very uncomfortable. Appetizers took abnormally long to come to the table. When the food arrived one item was completely wrong. The rest of the food came as ordered but was nothing to write home about. (Average tasting and quality). We are local and drive by the Fireside almost daily. Finally decided to stop and try it out. We brought friends from out of the area and we were looking forward to a nice lunch out. We are all in our upper sixties and low seventies and wore our masks. Outdoor dining was a little too crowded so we opted for the spacious dining are inside. We were able to find a table socially distanced from others and had a seat. Our server acted like she had far better things to do than assist us in ordering. Brisk and abrupt attitude and long waits in between drink orders and lunch orders. It was NOT busy inside by any stretch. Most, if not all, servers and cooks were not wearing their masks properly and noses were prominent all over the place. We have minor health issues and need to be reasonably sure we can be safe when we dine out. In addition, one of us has an elderly father in poor health who needs to be protected from any chance of covid infection and the thought of accidental contraction of the virus from the staff was uncomfortable. We stayed just long enough to finish most of our meal and left. There is no excuse for non adherence to the safest protocols available and mandatory in PA. In looking back, we should have left immediately but wanted to support our local businesses. It will a long time before I return, if ever. Knowing the cook staff was not wearing masks properly will color my thoughts about even using take out service. Too bad. We'd really like them to succeed. You guys can do so much better. One Bite Pizza Rule: 4.2 stars out of 10. Wait for take out: negative stars (It should not take 35 minutes for pizza and fried food.) The place was half empty and there were maybe 5 tickets on the wood oven station. Anyway, it is brand new, and they set this place up poorly. The entire set up is ridiculously bad planning. I would flip the bar and the wood gloves pizza so you could prepare drinks for people waiting to sit and you have better access to the outdoor space people to order drinks or wait staff. I get the open wood oven but it should be connect to your closed kitchen. It is poorly designed and the food is barely mediocre. The pizza is overly chewy and doughy. The sauce should be a bit more sweeter and the cheese seems cheap. The mozzarella sticks were good but the sauce was bad. The wings are under cooked and should be tossed in sauce unless they were breaded. This is standard Buffalo wings. The drinks to go should have tops. I haven't even got to the serve we will just say they can improve. They seem like they had good intentions because the options on the lake are terrible, but you added to the poor options. My suggestion - close down reorganize the floor plan. Have your head chef go and research better ingredients for food that are fresh and organic. Stop buying from distributors, you can drive 15-30 minutes and find great local farm products that are fresh and clean. 2 stars because it was clean. read more

Big disappointment. Service sooo slow. Took over an hour to get a pizza when the place was only the fourth the way full. Pizza soggy and sauce was bitter. We visited last weekend (early March 2021) On the positive side - nice, casual atmosphere with large TV screens around the room. Decent selection on the menu. They had live music the evening we went which was nice. Bar offers beer, mixed drinks and wine. I would be giving a 4 star review but..... On the negative - almost ZERO compliance with COVID safety. There were 4 or 5 staff waiting tables, 2 or 3 visible cooks working the pizza station (which is visible in the dining area/not behind doors) and 1 bartender. IF a staff member was even wearing a mask it was either hanging from 1 ear or pulled down around their neck. Making drinks, carrying customers food to their table, making peoples food....not wearing any protective face covering! We were uncomfortable to say the least. (If we hadn't been with a few other people we would've walked out) To make matters worse, when we requested our waitress pull her mask up when she came to our table, she partly did (covering her mouth only, not her nose) and proceeded to treat us with attitude and largely ignored us for the rest of the time we were there. I will say that the host, who also waited tables, was the only one who made any effort in wearing the mask properly. The place is cool & I would definitely go there for food, drinks, music & sports but that won't be until the need for COVID safety is long over. made a reservation. we are local and had family visiting from out of town. our waitress was rude. rolled her eyes when i asked if the wine was a pennsylvania wine and continued with that ridiculous behavior any time she came to our table which wasn't frequent. wings were not even warm. pizza was delicious but was not warm. my husband wanted to keep the beer list at the table and she said they only had three and took it. never brought it back--i ordered a ceasar salad for 8.00. it came out with romaine, tomatoes, horrible croutons, a ton of cheap parmesan cheese and some generic dsg. it probably would have been all good had our waitress acted a bit nicer. she didn't even know what kind of vodka they had. that's not my job-- it's hers. another eye roll and stomp because she was going to have to find that out. read more

First time we stopped in - a recommendation of a local friend. We ordered Cheese pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks by call in. They told us 20 min, and I showed up on time. The order was ready. Staff was upbeat and casual. Pleasant. The interior is beautifully done, a mix of contemporary and rustic. Unfortunately these guys have been dealt with a global pandemic for their grand opening. I brought the food back to our house. Upon opening, the pizza looked different and my son, super picky eater, turned his nose up. I told him to try it, just a bite. Well - he devoured the ENTIRE pizza, so I had to order a second pizza. The wings- not traditional. However their spin on buffalo wings is WAY better. My husband and I polished those off quickly. They are fried and then fire roasted creating a crispy wing with the buffalo sauce concoction on the side. The sauce was AMAZING. Prices are reasonable as well. I would encourage anyone to give them a try and support a local business! read more

I went there for dinner on a Sunday night with some Brooklyn friends of mine that have a house in Masthope. I have to tell you, Ringside Fire Grill has all the trappings of a great restaurant. Large open space, rustic atmosphere, very clean, two wood fired pizza ovens, only problem, the pizza was terrible. Our server was wonderful, I remembered her from another local place that I used to visit. But the Pizza was terrible. I have had some of the best Pizza in the world, growing up in Brooklyn and visiting Napes Italy that has some of the best pizza I ever tasted. I've also tried non traditional pizza from different regions that wasn't what I was used to, but on occasion, still tasted good. I didn't watch them make the pie, but if I had to guess, the pizza itself was not made from fresh dough. It tasted more like a pre-made pizza shell you would by from Costco or Restaurant Supply. No rise on the crust and it tasted like cardboard. But it didn't end there. We ordered a Margarita. What could be better coming out of a wood fired pizza oven than a classic Margarita. Only problem there was nothing classic about it. The sauce was terrible. My friends and I agreed, this had to be a ready made pizza sauce right out of the can, there wasn't a fresh herb or plumb tomatoes within miles of that sauce. After a major disappointment in the sauce and crust, nothing else mattered. You have heard the old saying that pizza is like sex, even a bad pie is worth eating. Except for this one. I'm sure the owners have a major investment in this establishment, and it's just a shame they did not invest in a real Pizziola to make their dough and pies. In addition to the pizza we all had salad which was large and fresh. Well done. But man does not live on salad alone. I would go back to try some of their other entrees, except for their Pizza Burger which probably has that same terrible sauce on it. Unless they change their recipe I will never go back for their pizza. Sorry guys, you can do much better. read more

If I could give this establishment fewer stars I would! They only serve pizza. Seems easy enough, right? Well, our party waited 2 hours to get our food. After asking where our food was multiple times and being lied to by everyone we asked, they finally brought our pizzas out. That took an hour and 45 minutes. We had young children with us and their food still hadn't come (it was 8:35 pm) so we continued to ask where their food was as we didn't feel right eating our food when theirs didn't come out yet. After asking so many times, THE WAIT STAFF THREATENED ONE OF THE GENTLEMEN IN OUR PARTY THAT HE WAS GOING TO KICK HIS BUTT. HE PUSH HIM OUTSIDE WITH TWO OTHER MEN TO FIGHT ON THE FRONT PORCH! We separated them and left before the altercation took place. NEVER in my life have I felt so disturbed by the way we were treated there.
