What a surprise! I happened to be in the area and I knew I had to try this restaurant out…read more I saw this restaurant on instagram. And it's a little bit of a drive from where I live. But today I happen to be in the area and I told my husband to try this place out. He was so happy! Once you place your order our waitress came with a big plate of sweet bread and you get to pick one! I picked the concha and my husband got the pineapple empanada! We ordered a bit of everything. My husbands go to meal always is chilaquiles. So he ordered the DIVORCIADOS $16.50 Half green and half red with carne asada and beans. We also got the CARNE EN SU JUGO $15.99 And I got the MENUDO ROJO $15.50 Let me start off by saying everything was amazing! It all tasted like it was homemade! Perfectly seasoned, with hand made tortillas. The carne en su jugo was really good! I understand why they are known for that dish. I loved my Menudo! I was craving it and it was perfect. The chilaquiles, the chips weren't soggy, they still had a bite to them. The sauces had so much flavor! My husband and I left with full bellies and a big smile on our faces! All the waitresses and waiters were so nice! Diego was telling us the story of the restaurant. Which was nice to hear. All family owned. Hopefully they open another restaurant closer to us!!! Fingers crossed! I will definitely come back to this restaurant and recommend it to all my family and friends!

Somebody in that kitchen Cares about what they're making for Me & You, and I can taste it ,in every bite of food. The lettuce , tomatoe, and all veggies are always fresh and super clean as is the restaurant. We met Diego today, he is the owners son,very respectful, courteous and attentive as were the waitresses. They open at 6 am and close at 2 pm Wed to Sunday Im told the line is typically long especially early am. I get the fried shell versus the soft shell queso birria tacos and you need to specify when ordering. The amount of meat makes you feel like I'm totally getting my protein in this meal. The consommé they give you to dip the tacos in is soooo good. Make sure you order this as it does not come with the tacos automatically. The first bite you can't help but roll your eyes back and let out some sort of sound as you just took the best bite of something that was out of this world. I always get some to go so I can have the next day. They run out of their fresh juices early so if you want to have any of those I'd get there early. They have inside searing and two patios to sit. Staff has always been amazing and so willing to help you with anything. They seem to love to work there and willing to go out their way to help you or make you feel you're feeling welcome. There was a family eating lunch of about 20?while we were there. You MUST try this place!!

It was delicious, filling, and definitely lived up to its size. The salsa bar was another standout, with four or five different salsas to choose from, and every one I tried was good. It's definitely on the expensive side, so it may not fit everyone's budget. That said, I've always said I'm willing to pay more for a burrito that's actually full, and Sayulitas delivered. The portion, flavor, and quality made it worth the price. I'll definitely be back.
