The brisket isn't great - it's a bit dry and flavorless and arrived at the table cold. The Mac n cheese tasted like it was cooked from frozen. I was pretty excited for my first time ever eating Texas BBQ as this restaurant was conveniently across from the hotel I was staying at. Figured after checking in and a long flight, I'd walk across the street to the nicely decorated restaurant and enjoy a nice lunch meal. My table ordered fried corn and fried pickles for appetizers and they were decent, the fried corn the favorite of the table out of everything. For the main entree, I ordered the brisket plate which included beans, bread, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. The sides were all forgettable but the most disappointing part was the star of the show: the brisket. It came with four large pieces but they were so dry and lacking any real flavor, the only way I could finish it was drenching it with their BBQ sauces. Thinking it was just mine, I checked with everyone else who had the brisket (three others) and they all said the same thing.
