Full Smoker 2 Meat Platter 10/10 1/2 Brisket BitesBrisket 10/10 Bread pudding dessert! 10/10

This place is such a hidden gem!!!! Service, outstanding!!!!! Food - DELICIOUS!!! And location is fun and not too crazy in a good way! Came in for a solo dinner and Steven was my server. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had in a long time! Received several recommendations and info about most of the menu and definitely got upsold on ordering way more than I planned to some of the honorable mentions - the brisket bites appetizer was a 10/10! The 2 meat platter was crazy filling and yummy, brisket is my top favorite and definitely was amazing, but the absolute star of the show is their bread pudding dessert! It was one of the best I've had in a long time and was pillowy soft and paired awesome with the sauce and the ice cream on the side, highly recommend trying it!!!!! The place itself is fun, and easy going in the best way possible and definitely not too loud. So if you're in the area and need a pit stop, make sure you make it this one!

Location On Main Street downtown Fort Worth Parking Lots and garages Atmosphere Texan bbq place-casual, tv's at bar Seating 2rooms-Low tables, small bar in room 1-second room-huge bar and tables great for groups Service Casual-Amy and Ricky had alot of customers-busy Saturday night Menu Famous for ribs, brisket-bites are breaded-I wanted them Not breaded or fried-just ends. Also did not have rib appetizer. All you can eat ribs-$19.99-great deal! We had the shrimp--grilled with onion slices, sauce that tasted like it had either nutmeg or allspice. Yummy! Shrimp were grilled nicely! Large! Also have platters, sandwiches, burgers, tacos. Wine list is sutter home/kendall jackson. Many birthday parties. Summary Local Fort Worth historic bbq restaurant. Famous for ribs. Casual friendly service.

Good BBQ depending on what you order. Some of the items on Riscky's menu are spectacular, and some are just subpar. The brisket isn't great - it's a bit dry and flavorless and arrived at the table cold. The Mac n cheese tasted like it was cooked from frozen. The sides of coleslaw, green beans and baked beans were alright, nothing to write home about. On the other hand, the ribeye, BBQ shrimp, and fried okra were especially good (the okra was super good actually). Overall, the food was pretty plain and doesn't taste like BBQ that was cooked with love. This spot is 10/10 for vibes and atmosphere though! Riscky's is situated right at the start of the daily cattle drive. With a ton of both indoor and outdoor seating, you would have the perfect view of the festivities. Inside is super cool and a perfect spot for escaping the heat. The music and decor are great and really encapsulate the western vibes of the Stockyards. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The food came out pretty quick too. Depending on what you order, you may love or hate Riscky's but it's worth a shot!

Fort Worth has some amazing barbecue. Sadly, this once-great place just isn't it anymore. The staff are lovely, but the place feels tired. The menu is good, but the execution doesn't live up. Pulled pork was dry, and brisket was a little tough. The shaved smoked turkey sandwich was good, though.

Second time here and it dis not disappoint, went with the Big Boy and Brisket Sandwich. Honestly the Sandwiches themselves get you full, theres no need for sides. However we went with Ocra and it was all delicious. We arrived at 1300 and didn't have to wait and were seated immediately without wait.

Brisket platter - with baked beans, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and bread. Brisket was super dry.

I was pretty excited for my first time ever eating Texas BBQ as this restaurant was conveniently across from the hotel I was staying at. Figured after checking in and a long flight, I'd walk across the street to the nicely decorated restaurant and enjoy a nice lunch meal. For a Monday at lunch time, the place was pretty empty, which I found a little odd. Service was prompt though, checked in often and without hovering. My table ordered fried corn and fried pickles for appetizers and they were decent, the fried corn the favorite of the table out of everything. For the main entree, I ordered the brisket plate which included beans, bread, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes. The sides were all forgettable but the most disappointing part was the star of the show: the brisket. It came with four large pieces but they were so dry and lacking any real flavor, the only way I could finish it was drenching it with their BBQ sauces. Thinking it was just mine, I checked with everyone else who had the brisket (three others) and they all said the same thing. So, my first real Texas BBQ meal was memorable and that I won't forget, but for the wrong reason.

Fried brisket bites! SO GOOD. Shrimp was good too. Also loved every sauce - everything was delicious. Cool place too. My grandma and I loved it

Stopped into Riscky's for an $18 BBQ platter expecting a smoky Texas experience, but left a bit underwhelmed. The meats were tender enough, but they lacked that deep smoke flavor you come to Fort Worth craving. The sides didn't help much--tasted like something from a box or can, not made fresh. It wasn't awful, just not memorable. Middle of the road.

I added the onion, but haven't even had any Mac yet. Dis is how they serve to-go orders.

Fill to go containers full. Mine is always 1/2 full or less. Today was less. See photo.

Horrible service!! Waitress was very snarky and rude. The food took forever (over an hour). Granted the manager did give us 50% off our check- which was still $63! I can't imagine paying $120+ for the crap that was served to us! If the waitress wasn't so rude it wouldn't have been a huge deal. I understand being busy, but being rude and hateful is no excuse! I got the lunch chicken fried chicken, didn't even eat it. Left as hungry as I came! Super thin and all breading. Save your time and money!

Horrible experience! I ordered a medium well done, and it came out completely raw in the middle. I told them about it, and it still wasn't fixed right. For a BBQ place, I expected way better. Definitely not coming back.

The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

However, I find the food to be quite a let down, not worth the price. I had the sourdough and it was good. I had the steak and fries for the main course with the upgrade cuts of steak. The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. Overall, I think it's a great place for a business meet up and if you are standing at the property but nothing too special.
