Storming away to only to return to my chair to have a tantrum. While sloppily apply an all over to color refused to look at me or speak to me. This continued until I told him how uncomfortable I was. He then lost it. Telling me he wasn't going to be abused by clients. Nuts. He then got the other hair stylist involved which turned a bad situation worse. Needless to say it was inexcusable behavior. I left with color in my hair to wash out at home. Heed my warning and NEVER EVER GO HERE. It is a dinghy salon. With dated products. Stay away.

CONS: I've been coming here for years...however lately I've noticed that the past few times I've gone I am walking out disappointed. I know that my hair takes 3 hours of work every time I go to any salon, but when I spend 3 hours of my time and walk out disappointed...then we got problems. I'm too nice of a person to tell the salon artist that they did not do what I asked, especially when I sit in the chair and we basically become friends. I walked in wanting my hair to be light strawberry blonde with blonde highlights/balayage, trimmed and styled. I walked out 3 hours and $150 later with the same color hair as I had with barely noticeable blonde highlights and two almost white highlights in the front of my face. She trimmed and curled it (that was okay.) I'm not sure what highlights she was putting in for so long, but they were the same color as my hair so you can't even see them. After my initial hair trial, she even let me book another appointment to get a cut and color to bring out the style even more on my Wedding day! Krystle was promptly there bright and early to start the festivities on my wedding day and she was so very welcoming, friendly, and professional! My hair was flawless and looked just as great at the end of the night as it did in the beginning, as did each of the bridesmaids and wedding party! I cannot possibly thank Krystle enough for all of her help and flexibility with everything along the way even when I had to add an extra person the day of. She is SO nice and personable and was so patient and genuinely interested is listening to all I was looking for out of my appointment. She nailed it, x10. My sister recently went to a local salon (not The Color Lounge) and does not like the color outcome. My sister came in while I was in the chair and Nikki was SO NICE and spent time w/her discussion her concerns and recommended a particular color treatment shampoo.
