But it's easy because I'm a former Chinese buffet expert so I can break it down to you: there are some good items here, many average ones, and some really horrific. Good ones to try: large shrimp, beef, or anything that is from the grill area. Their fried rice was above average (but don't fill up on that since you'll get full really quickly). Seafood salad (by the salad bar), pineapple (in season) and stir-fry shrimp were also good. Average: everything else, minus the horrific ones below. Horrific: sushi (not as fresh/cold as I'd like), any of the dim sum items, stir-fry section (not to be confused with the grilled section, which you don't choose sauce), teriyaki chicken (overcooked), spare ribs (overcooked) Having said that, $20 euro per person isn't that bad, considering the variety of things you can get. Pro tip: even if you put 6-7 large shrimp on your plate (from the grilling section), they will only bring you 3-4. So separate them into multiple plates with something random (example: if you want 7 shrimp, put 3 + slice of beef on 1 plate, and 4 + slice of chicken on another plate). Pro tip 2: gelato is $1 more

At Giacomo Bistrot I had a phenomenal Veal Chop and good glass of wine. Came with small roasted potatoes and their home baked bread. Finished it off with a good tiramisu. Second time I had the spaghetti pomodoro with a great house salad. The aroma of the tomato sauce was outstanding. I love the ambience of the "library room", though sitting in the small bar area is charming as well. Giacomo might be a bit pricey but the food is great and worth it.

We discovered this restaurant as its close to duomo area and it's on the way to another Chinese restaurant. It looks quite small outside but inside is huge! It opens at 7 pm but we we got in like 15 min earlier, no problem. The reason we decided to try is because on the menu we saw dry hotpot dishes besides the Japanese dish and other Chinese ones. Any restaurant knows how to cook dry hotpot dishes know how to cook real Chinese food. So we go in, it took us a while to walk to our table, it was really huge. The tables are really clean and tidy. You can order prefixed 18.8 per person menu order as much as you want , but cannot leave any food otherwise receive a fine. Or you can order from another menu separately, which has some authentic dishes not on the prefixed ones. All the four dishes (spicy beef soup, vege fried rice, kungpao chicken, and dry hotpot veges ) are really really good, maybe spicy beef soup can be improved a little bit though as the complications of spices are not so comprehensive. We were surprised to taste authentic Chinese Sichuan food. The service was fast and frequent checkups. Now, the food is very authentic and tasty. Since I was by myself, I was only able to try two entrees.
