The only way this was made semi-tolerable, was by immediately visiting their restroom where it is actually the temperature of the sun (or hell, your choice), and without any toilet paper or soap. By the time you return to the main dining room, it feels practically cool by comparison! The staff are clearly overtaxed, but they were friendly and trying their best to attend to everyone. I had the carbonara, which was fine. It's got an extensive menu and generous portions.

The lovely waitress quickly took our drinks order & food order. With the exception of one appetizer order (scallops), we all ordered only a plate of pasta each (Astice, Pomodoro, Funghi, & Vongole). At this point it was barely 12:15. The food - pasta - was finally brought to the table at almost 14:00. Nearly. Two. Fucking. Hours. For pasta. I would stop there, except the manager (or whatever, can't miss him he looks like Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan), comes by at the end to 'apologize for the short delay'. When I remonstrated with him that it wasn't short at all but nearly two hours, he then basically blames us 'because we all ordered different pastas, & they all have different cooking times'. Ma che cazzo... (e pure che coglione tremendo!) Save your money, & eat at the Comici Self-Serve outside: fast, tasty, & not full of shit.
