We altered the pizza a bit and omitted the tuna and replaced with thinly slice red onions that went with roasted peppers, artichokes and mushrooms. We expected it to come all mixed together and we were wrong. Individual sections each having its own veggie. It was fantastic. Highly recommend. You might leave feeling like you can make this yourself at home. Although they do hand make all their own pastas which is nice. However, the sauce is all already pre-made and they just boil the pasta and throw the sauce on top. I would recommend their Pesto sauce, very garlicky and much more refined than the bolognese and tomato sauces. I got the tagliatelli and it was not cooked al dente, which was disappointing given they are in the Italian side of Switzerland.

When it's ready you go and pick your tray from the counter (it is a self service place). Landed there at the end of a rainy day and had a very good pasta "di Farro" (a primitive type of wheat) with the sauce of the day (tomato, tuna,etc.) It turned out to be very very good and fulfilling. Paired with the house white wine was a good idea too. So the food was great, the service too (the lady in charge was kind enough to explain everything clearly), and the price was good considering the dish was very generous. Have to admit never had Farro pasta before, but after some research looks like is very healthy, sure is tasty too. Final note, the coffee offered is from a self service machine coffee pods type of thing, so don't expect an outstanding coffee, go with the house white wine instead.

New restaurant that has opened recently…read more Portions are small even for Europe, but food is high quality and wait staff is very knowledgeable. Meal comes with bread made in house and served with a quenelle butter, and some small slices of cured meat. We also got an amuse bouche of cuttlefish on a small salad. This may be seasonal. We ordered the raclette as an appetizer. Traditionally it's a very heavy and dense melted cheese, but in this version "a nostra interpetazione", the cheese is a light cream, served from a whipped cream canister. It is served over the typical mashed potato with thin crispy pancetta and a small dice of gherkin. I also got the wild boar ravioli. It was served with an apple foam, and was a lovely mix of sweet and savory. For dessert you must get the egg (l'uovo della fattoria) which has a coconut cream, Malibu and pineapple. These whole thing is served just like an egg, with a white chocolate shell, coconut for the egg white, and pineapple as the yolk. I got the sphere (la sfera) which was a semifreddo with hazelnut, a fig filling, and star anise meringue. I didn't enjoy it that much but as I don't like jelly based desserts but the presentation was great. They do have English menus despite none on the website.
