The man who seemed to be in charge was so kind and checked on us repeatedly throughout the meal, asking us where we were from and shaking our hands before we left. It was nice to feel genuinely welcomed by a restaurant! We couldn't ask for a better experience. On our first visit, we both had a side salad, followed by pasta. Side salads were very fresh and generous, with proper Italian dressing. Both pasta dishes were well, flavoured and - joy of joys - the pasta was al dente. We decided to eat here again before we left Trier. On our second visit, I had a pizza Contadina (vegetarian) and my partner had scallopini Italia, a pork escalopes, topped with tagliatelle and bolognaise sauce.
