We had a very good lunch in this island town of Grafo, Italy.
After driving from Slovenia all morning and walking around up and down along the Canale della Schiusa, we looked for some place where we could sit down to relax and enjoy our late lunch. We walked towards the beach, and voila!, there it was this little pizzaria with street seating. Although it was a warm sunny day, it was very comfortable in the shade with slight breeze from the ocean.
We were very fortunate the kitchen was still open, and got seated right away. We ordered quickly, and waited for our drinks. By the time our drinks came out with cuperto, we were ready to order our lunch.
Fried calamari was simply very good in seasoned light batter. My wife said her lasagna was very good, too. We just enjoyed ourselves relaxing and eating delightful lunch in a gorgeous setting. Highly recommended. read more
