Filippo ist vor 40 Jahren von Sizilien nach Deutschland gezogen und blickt, gemeinsam mit seiner Ehefrau, auf eine lange Laufbahn in der Gastronomie zurück. Die kulinarischen Genüsse sizilianischer, aber auch deutscher Art, sind bald "in aller Munde", sodass sich das Ristorante schnell einen guten Namen über die Grenzen Reckenfelds hinaus macht. Im Jahr 2006 tritt Filippos Sohn Antonio als gelernter Koch im Unternehmen ein.Im Jahre 2015 erfolgt nach langer Bauphase endlich die Neueröffnung in eigenen Räumlichkeiten an der Grevener Landstraße 4. Gleichzeitig findet ein Generationswechsel statt. Filippo übergibt die Inhaberschaft an seinen Sohn Antonio Furnari, bleibt mit seiner wertvollen Erfahrung aber weiterhin im Familienbetrieb tätig.

No alcohol and weird Arabian texts on the wall. Very hard to find zie (get it?) capi di tutti capi in this place. So take those sticky fly tape rolls with you and go ahead, I dare you... Order! I had the quattro stagioni pizza but even when searching underneath the cheeeeeze avalanche I couldn't find those fine ingredients. They did put tuna on my schinken for a change. Look at those locals ordering.... Poor bastards. Did you play Pizza Tycoon? "What's that on the top, pepper or flies? Anyway, you'll get it, if not good luck with your pan pizza! P.s. Those Germans writing good reviews either live here and never tried a real pizza or they are just the people that normally pull one out of the freezer. Seriously I saw them ordering here, like zombies. Looking sad and only repeating "need food" - stay away from this place man.
