I've been coming here for years, but this past two visits have me questioning it. The last visit I asked for waxing. When I got on the chair I again told her I was getting my eyebrows WAXED. She responded "waxed? No... threading is better". She ended up waxing a little bit and threading the rest. 20% waxed and 80% threaded which is what I DIDNT want. She also cut me so now I have a little cut under my eyebrow. The visit before... I waited for 40min before I finally left. For the amount of ppl there it shouldn't have taken as long.

Love this place! I usually request Rahda, but everyone here is amazing. I always come back here with my daughters and anyone else that wants to tag along. Anyone I bring is always a super happy customer. Ambience: 10/10 Always clean! Nice but very small private area for waxing. I love the music they play, it's very beautiful and relaxing. Service: 10/10 Everyone is very kind and patient. They will work on you until you are able to leave happy. I have never had a bad experience here.

I was looking for a spot that does henna eyebrows, and since this place does it...I thought I'd try. BIG MISTAKE! I came in and since I've never had them done before, and all I've done was seen videos on how it was done...I trusted whatever I was told. The lady advised that I get threaded first. For the record I don't grow a lot of hair, but to have some form of better shape, I guess this is why I should do it. Who knows. So after the threading of one lady, another one started to do the henna brows. Now I asked if I'll know the shape prior to them putting the henna. I am super careful about how symmetrical my eyebrows are, and I wouldn't want something semi permanent put on my brows without knowing how the shape will look. I showed a photo of how I like my eyebrows so they are aware how I'd like them to be as well. So she doesn't draw it, in fact she just put the henna free hand. When i saw it, it looks NOTHING on how I want my eye brows. It was super rounded, and my eye brows have an arch! I told her I didn't want my eyebrows like that, and showed the photo. I explained I wanted it arched. So she puts some stuff to get rid of the henna, which actually stings and works on the other eyebrows. She did it free hand, but the shape was a little better. I let her know as long as the other eyebrow shape is like what she just did, then I'm good with it. So she started back on the same eyebrows she messed up on, and once again.....IT IS ROUND. I explained to her that it is not symmetrical. They are two different shapes. I told her I don't want it anymore. It's not turning out right. She insist to try it one more time, but honestly...I was over it. But she said she'll fix it. The eye brows are now arch, but still not symmetrical to the other one. I frustratingly insisted I don't want it and I don't want it to be fixed. She put that same stingy salve on both my eyebrows. In the end one side came off more than the other. She said they would come off with soap and water, but it didn't. I had to remove it with nail polish remover. Probably not the best thing to put on my face, but I know it was strong enough to take some of it out. Luckily it took enough out so that I can draw a different shape over it. Overall don't get henna eye brows here, unless you have super defined shaped eye brows. Because my eyebrows are sparse there is not much shape. So they are probably following the shape the eyebrows they free hand on. Either way I'd probably suggest to go to one that draws it prior to putting henna. Also threading is a bit expensive compared to other spots I've gone to. So definitely won't come back here.

Lady wanted to argue with me about how she just cleaned them up, she did not clean them up, she took them off! Make sure you tell them exactly how you want your brows. If I could call corporate, I would because this is unbelievable

dont come here. quality is bad, clearly doesn't know how to properly thread eyebrows. I've been to places cheaper than 12 and gotten a better job done. save your money

This is how my henna came out on the FIRST day and i tipped and this is what i got. I am extremely upset at the quality of my service. You can't even see it. This is how its supposed to look when its old/fading away. What a waste of money.

I love coming here all the women thread eyebrows lovely through the week theres usually no to little wait time you go in and check in on their iPad you sit down and get threaded they offer aloe Vera when their done ripping out those unwanted hairs lol also the location is bomb it's around a marshals!! And post office, Wells Fargo bank, Lbs financial credit Union, T Mobile, Ups store, smoke shop, beauty supply store, dry cleaners massage envy, the town center also has 3 grocery stores Smart & Final store Vons and Aldi's and a Rite Aid pharmacy all these good places to have next to each other and on top of that a bomb eyebrow place also eyebrows are $11!

actually save yourself and do no come here I had very thick eyebrows and now I have almost no left eyebrow. I asked for a clean up not to get half my eyebrow taken off . It's so bad I cannot bring myself to go out like this. please save yourself and do not come here unless you want the thinnest eyebrows. My eyebrows were my favorite feature about myself and now I'm distraught. It's been 2 hours and I can not bring myself to stop crying. My eyebrows will grow back but never like before so do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that "sorry " you get ain't gonna cut it

This particular henna was not done by Rita. Rita was doing my friends henna and there's another lady that did this one.

A long overdue review... Rita is the best!!! She never disappoints, consistent, gentle and knows exactly how I like my eyebrows. I found Rita last year when I first moved here and she is by far the best in LB and my go to for all of my threading needs. She is super friendly, has a super clean salon, great pricing and follows all of the guidelines. You should give her a try! High rating mainly for their flexibility. I was able to walk in, check in, and be out in less than 30 minutes for a full on Brazilian. I called a head of time and asked if there was availability for a walk-in waxing. Surprisingly fast, thorough, and economical. Will definitely come back after I deplete my pre-paid European Waxing Center bundle of services. Old school waxing with cotton strips. If you can tolerate the pain, it will be a quick service. No thrills, just wax on, wax off, and you're done. read more

I went to see Kala since Rita isn't here. She told me to "trust them" so I decided to go ahead and see her other staff. Kala gave me two different eyebrows. Completely made me bald on my left eyebrow on the top! My right eyebrow is round, WHY IS IT ROUND?!? I got up and said I'd go home and fix it. The fact she let me walk out of there AND pay is appalling. I've been coming to Rita for 15 years and this is just so incredibly disappointing. My face isn't the same. Eyebrows make or break your face and this is so messed up. They're in completely different zipcodes! read more

I attended the establishment with my daughter who was getting service, and my daughter persuaded me to try the service since it was my birthday (73 )young. I had never ever had eyebrows threading,had heard it was painful,however I agree and the worker ease my tension and assure me she would be gentle as possible and put me in a relax mood and I would feel minimal discomfort. I was impressed by honesty and I definitely will return. I love my eyebrows threading!! The establishment is clean and staffs are very professional as well as customer friendly. read more

Rating: 4.5 I've passed by here so many times as I frequent the area often. I decided to give them a try, made an appointment and staff were super friendly. I got Sabita - she was gentle, accommodating and pleasant. Sabita talked to me while she did my service and took her time which I appreciated. I love that they have a rewards program here. I do recommend and will return. read more

This place knows how to thread eyebrows better than I can do, for that I would give them 5 stars. I dunno the people are so nice and although getting your eyebrows threaded hurts it's always nice to see the finished product. They also offer some aloe Vera for your eyebrows after so they look extra nice. read more

HUGE MISTAKE!!! coming here I told them I needed shaping ( I don't freaking have much hair ) and wanted Hanna not thick !! They did the opposite!!!! Never coming back !! I work in a very professional job and now I have to be looking like this !! read more

I was recommended to come here from a friend when my original brown lady started being lazy with her work and extremely comfortable after years of service and "friendship " Rita and her employees are SO welcoming, and the music they have on is so soothing and relaxing I am so happy I made that decision to MOVE ON and try someone new because as picky as I am I had no choice but to be open and RITA DID NOT disappoint!! I had a good experience at Rita Threading. My service provider was Kala who was amazing and very patient. I got threading and waxing done and both services were amazing. I'm going back this weekend for the same services. I would definitely recommend Rita Threading for your threading and waxing needs. read more

Rita acts like she is too good to do anyone's brows that is not her regular. I am picky about my brows and I stick to the same person, I have been to the shop twice this week and Kala was not there so I asked my daughter to put me down for Rita. I come in and wait, when it's my turn Rita tells me to go to the other lady despite me being on the waiting FOR HER! I constantly get this impression from Rita like she's too good which is why I stopped coming here before. I sat in the chair and said clean up only! Literally remove growth only but no she goes to town and thins my brows starts threading my baby hair and cut me with the thread and essentially ruins my brows! Like I HATE them and it will take months to get them back the way they were and I'm pissed! Listen to your customer. Stop rushing. I'm not coming back. Period! There's better. read more

I know she meant nothing but good but the lady that did my eyebrows changed my shape and did a poor job. We had both agreed it was just a clean up and made my eyebrows thin and changed the way they were. Not to mention overpriced. Did not offer a discount or anything after even noticing i was not satisfied. learned my lesson first time and last time there. i rather drive to Gardena for 6.99 and get them done there correctly. ugh now i have to spend my vacation with ugly eyebrows ugly pictures. would post a picture but to embarrassed on how my eyebrow looks now. read more

I love love love Rita. I see her or Manisha at minimum monthly for a full face and they're both so detailed and leave me feeling wonderful. Call ahead to make an appointment if you cannot wait because they're usually always busy especially Friday through Sunday. I've seen ladies be rude because they can't wait and it's so frustrating to watch. They're busy because they give great service, wait for it or prepare for it. Anyway team Rita and Manisha all the way! read more

The women who threaded my brows was thorough but I like my brows thicker and a clean up doesn't require thinning brows out. I have discovered this place through Yelp and boy am I glad I did. Yelp did not steer me wrong on this one. I have been here several times and all of the threaders do a really good job. I just got my eyebrows threaded yesterday and I didn't get the name of the one who helped me out but she is the one at the last station. She is very quiet but she listened to what I said. I told her I wanted my eyebrows to be straight as possible and she nailed it. I'm so happy with my results. I went from Ziba threading in Lakewood mall to this place. Even the price is cheaper. At Ziba it's 12 but here it is $8. At Ziba I would get messed up eyebrows but not here. I'm glad I found this place. This place is my go to place to get my eyebrows threaded. read more

I have been going to Rita's since they opened and I will likely go forever. I am taking one star off because there's a steady rotation of threaders that come through, so the consistency is variable. As soon as I get home, I pull out the magnifying mirror to see exactly what kind of work was done on my brows. There have been several times there was not a single missed hair for me to pluck. The Lady I went to wasn't the best at doing the henna tattoo however the lady that my friend went to did an amazing job on her henna tattoo. I guess it just depends on whoever you go to. Although the Henna wasn't great, they were very polite and the overall environment Was very pleasing and welcoming. And also based on the reviews, they do an amazing job with threading your eyebrows. read more

When it comes to nails, eyebrows, etc I'm very picky BUT this time around I don't think im being picky I just think that the shape of my eyebrows is definitely not the same, I loved one eyebrow but the other looks worst than before I walked in. I went for the first time today. I should have known better by the looks of the girls eyebrows that if she couldn't do her own eyebrows well why in the world would I sit in her chair. I was in a hurry and needed my eyebrows done so I sat. This was the worst anyone has ever done my eyebrows in my entire life. She didn't even show me her work half way through. I showed her a photo of my eyebrows and she rushed me like yeah yeah i got it, no she didn't have it. I look like a hot mess. God bless the next clients of hers. Nothing is worse than having to grow you eyebrows out and wait after trusting a amateur and paying for them! Pray for me. I pray that my eyebrows grow quickly. read more

Today was my second visit to Rita's, and I can honestly say it is the best threading salon I've ever been to! First off, I love their iPad reward system. It makes it so much easier than having to remember to bring a stamp card every visit, and I like that you have the option to choose who you want to do your brows. Kala did my eyebrows and I love them! Without any guidance from me, she was able to shape them exactly how I like them. She's very gentle, and definitely takes her time. She also asked me a couple times if she was hurting me, which I've never had someone do before and I thought it was really nice. At the end with the aloe gel, she gives you a mini face massage which is a relaxing, spa-like way to finish the service. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience.
