The customer service and food were amazing. The prices and ambiance make you feel like you're in "the good old days" with the prices and handmade EVERYTHING this is a win for our family. Whoopie pies, cakes, cookies, candy, noodles, jams, etc! All your Amish dreams in one store with up to date technology. Clean bathrooms and space to sit inside or out. Didn't get a chance to try their homemade donuts, but breakfast sandwiches and sausage gravy were all delicious. Potatoes and bacon perfectly cooked. Would love to stop in for lunch. They have a deli counter, and household needs as well. We stopped on our way home from lake Gaston and would love to make this a tradition. This place is a local gem that we feel blessed to have stumbled across!

Today's choice for the wifey and I was Roast Beef sandwiches. Hers with provolone cheese and mine with American. Hers on sourdough and mine on rye. We both loved our sandwich's. The young lady who made our sandwiches was very friendly and was also very quick. I'd guess both sandwiches were ordered and given to us in about 6-7 minutes. Great little store. Other items we picked up today were fresh dinner rolls, some Brunswick stew, a couple fresh spices and some Birch Beer soda. So a great little place and we will be back again. I suggest you go if you're hungry or need some fresh spices.

Even though the gas was 16 cents higher than the station across the street, I figured I'd pay the premium for the "luxury" of not crossing traffic. Big mistake. Huge. The bathrooms were spectacularly disgusting--a true masterpiece of neglect. The men's room smelled like a science experiment gone wrong, dried urine decorated the only working urinal like modern art, chewing gum was stuck inside it for added texture, and of course there was no soap, because why offer basic hygiene when you can offer disappointment? My wife and daughter said the women's restroom wasn't any better, so at least the filth is consistent across genders. And honestly, if they don't take pride in keeping the bathrooms clean, I'd be seriously concerned about the cleanliness of the food prep areas. If the restroom looks like a biohazard zone, I can only imagine what's happening behind the counter. When we went to pay, the cashier was deeply committed to his phone--far more committed than he was to the line of customers waiting. I mentioned the bathroom situation, and he didn't even blink. Clearly, he's heard it all before and has reached a level of apathy most people can only dream of. I will never stop here again. I'd rather push my vehicle 10 miles than spend another dollar at the 1120 East Atlantic Street, La Crosse, VA 23950 location.

There was 12 gas pumps with Sunoco, which is apparently the official fuel of NASCAR. There is a Papa John's attached. Outside was several bottles of water. They sell Propane for $23.99. They sell Firewood for 2/$12, along with ice that was next to it. The restrooms are to the right. Immediately when to walk in to the right, there is gambling stations, coffee, and food such as hotdogs and pizza. Only 1 of the 5 slurpee options were in order. There was 15 options on the fountain drink station. They also sold sweet tea that was fresh brewed, which was interesting. There is a cooler with ice cream that was halfway empty. I noticed the beer cave that was fairly stocked, have a hood amount of beverage choices, and they accept EBT. They also sold travel items such as neck pillows and toys. They have an ATM and sell frozen food next to a cooler of ice. In the mens restroom, there are two urinals and two stalls. The toilets in the stalls were abnormally close to the ground. There were two sinks and a electric hand dryer. There was also a baby changing station that was clean. The restroom was clean. They have signs to notify staff if the restroom needs service. I ended up getting a bag Chex mix that was $1.99. The items in the store were labeled with prices, which was great. The prices for this 7-Eleven was fairly reasonable/typically versus other locations. This is the 3rd-4th one I been to since my visit in Virginia and I noticed a lack of consistency with prices. I'm sure that's because each may be independent owned. After using the rest room and browsing the store, I decided to grab some chips as my stomach started to growl. There was no line. I noticed Buzz Balls by the check out counter. The cashier, Darnese, was friendly. My chips cost me $2. I left my wallet in the car S I wasn't planning on buying anything, but they accept Apple Pay! Overall, no complaints. There was a guy stocking and another staff person, who I'm assuming was the manager, talking with a tech who came to fix something.
