Came here for my 2nd booster shot and it's obvious they care very little about it. Waited for 30min thinking the pharmacist was late or something but when I went back to the pharmacy counter, they said the pharmacist is getting the booster shot ready. Seriously??? It takes 30 minutes????? Next time I'm going else where for any pharmacy related transaction. If they offer Pfizer at CVS or Walgreens or Kaiser, I'm the heading there. I have been using the pharmacy for years! Up until the merger the pickup window was pretty quick and the line inside moved well. WELLLLLL today I go in to grab my prescription and my CA driver's license expired on my birthday. So the nurse said "It's at the Pharmacist discretion" so here comes KEVIN THE PHARMACIST!!!! I explain the situation and he looks at me and said "Ya you're gonna have to send someone you can trust with a license to pick this up, I can't release them"! In my last attempt I explain again I have been on this medication at this pharmacy for over a year and I use pay n go on the app, still NO BUDGE!! So I turn around and ask the next man in line for help which he agreed! KEVIN takes the man's card and looks at him with a long pause, ROLLED HIS EYES!! and said "Sir are you sure you feel comfortable doing this?" LONGGGGG PAUSE again and said to me "I'm noting your account!" WELLLLL OKAY KEVINNNNN, note away!! Smhhhhh Such BS!! SORRY KEVIN YOU'RE HAVING A BAD DAY!!! I have been waiting for over three hours for a prescription to be filled. The order was sent over by the hospital prior to my sons surgery and rite aid still didn't have it ready. If they needed more information they could have called, emailed or reached out to the hospital. They don't have any idea how long it will take to fill the prescription either. I was told to just give them a number where they can text me when it's ready. Today? Tomorrow? Next week? Meanwhile my son will just have to endure pain for an undetermined time due to the inefficiency we are dealing with. Let's just hope he doesn't pass out from pain while I wait for his meds. read more

Based on my first time using the pharmacy drive thru window, I would not recommend this pharmacy. I waited in lane 2 for 40 minutes. There was only two other cars in front of me, same as lane one. However, it looks like lane 2 only got served after every 2-3 cars hot served in lane one. By the time I got my medication, 7 cars had already been served from lane one! How is that fair? Anyway, I've been a long time rite aid customer but I guess it's time to take my business elsewhere. read more

The pharmacy is a JOKE. Waited in line as my prescription was ready to er their confirmation I was told that I had to circle back around because it's being counted. The confirmation was from yesterday. I asked to wait as I already exited in line and they told me no I would have to go back thru the drive thru and I can't come back. I'm completely out of my prescription They did not offer any pills to hold me over and made leave the drive thru. Never again read more

This Rite Aid is like any other, I guess. I still prefer Walgreens. Why is it that no matter what time of day it is there will only be one cashier? There can be 6 people in line but one cashier and of course after you have waited 15 it is finally your turn and suddenly another appears! Works everytime. The Thrifty ice cream is so good. It would be great if they carried more flavors in the freezer case! I shop here regularly including all of our Rx's. I use automated refills and haven't had any problems, the drive thru is great for picking up your Rx as well as other OTC items, saves having to go inside. Staff is helpful, sometimes I do have to wait in line for a bit when there's only one cashier. They have a decent selection of items, and their sales are excellent especially if you have a coupon. One star off due to them not having the greatest Rx prices with GoodRx, they do honor it, but other pharmacies have way lower prices. I also shop online and am very pleased. read more

Veronica, in the pharmacy department, has always delivered fantastic Customer Service for years. She is cheerful, diligent, and always goes beyond the "call of duty." The entire pharmacy department is a pleasure to work with. Sometimes it takes adverse conditions, like the recent health crisis (Covid-19), to make you appreciate the level of help the people a Rite Aid delivers daily. I was a customer here for years and they never impressed me. The customer service wasn't even average, the wait time wasn't very good. Often times I'd be sitting there staring at them through the window and they'd be trying not to make eye contact with me. They didn't even say, "We'll be with you in just a moment!" They just tried to pretend I wasn't there. I mostly just went because I liked the vintage feel before the remodel and after the remodel the drive through was nice, albeit very difficult to hear. But I found that their customer service was poor when you needed them to do something other than just fill a prescription. The woman I spoke to today didn't seem to understand the concept of diplomacy. She was very rude and short with me. Also, their prices on medicines that aren't covered by your insurance are one of the highest. I'm switching everything over the Costco as we speak. If I'm going to pay for mediocre customer service on a good day (I'm sure Costco can't be any worse), I'd rather save money. For Tamsulosin Rite-Aid quoted me $26 for seven pills. CVS quoted me $21 and Costco quoted me $12. Less than half of Rite-Aid's price. Also, you don't need a Costco membership to use Costco's pharmacy. Save yourself the headache and the money and switch over. Update: I just got the prescription filled at Costco. Not only was it less than half the price, but they were super nice there. The guy who took my prescriptions and what not seemed very on top of it. The lady who took my payment was very sweet. Smiled and greeted me as I walked up and was cracking jokes with me. Then afterward the pharmacist took me aside to go over how to take it and what to expect. So I withdraw the "If I'm going to pay for mediocre customer service on a good day, I'd rather save money." because their service wasn't mediocre. But their prices are lower. read more

High praise for the pharmacist and his team! I spent four hours at the Walgreens across the street trying to get a prescription filled. Had huge issues! My physician then called my prescription in at this Rite Aid, and it was ready within 20 minutes....with no problems! The staff were all very friendly and professional. Will definitely return to this location for our pharmacy needs in the future! read more

This is an excellently run store. It is always clean and well lit. The shelves are always organized and stocked. I really appreciate the tags on their food that denote things like "gluten free," as they make grabbing snacks much easier. They have good, inexpensive baby care things, which is always a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful. I always walk out feeling like I've just had a pleasant experience. read more
