Becky went out of her way to make calls and get me statements during a bad bout of covid of my entire family. She isn't at Rite Aid just for a pay check. Becky takes her job whole heartily, seriously, with compassion and always with a heart warming smile. Becky is an asset to Rite Aid. Rite Aid be aware of her work ethic and reward her for her hard work and above all becuse I watched her interaction with other people who approached her and she was as sweet and helpful to us all no matter what our station in life. Why does it take so long to pick up your medication? I've been to CVC, and they give it to me as soon as I check in at the register. After being discharged from the ER yesterday, I called this Rite Aid to verify my prescription was received and ask the cash price because I am currently uninsured. I called the pharmacy twice and no one answered. The 3rd time I called, I called the front end and asked for the pharmacy. After fifteen minutes and being on hold most of those minutes, I gave my phone to my sister and used hers to call the front end. I asked for the manager, explained my situation and the manager stated he would walk back to the pharmacy and get someone to answer the line. I spoke with Chris and he stated he is a pharmacist. I asked about my prescription being filled. He stated they did not fill it because my insurance was denied. I asked for the cash price and also asked why no one called me. He put me on hold and gave me the cash price. I agreed to it and asked if he could fill it as I'd be there in 20 minutes (mind you, they usually call if there's an issue and at this point, my discharge was an hour prior). He said that filling it now was impossible and it would be at least an hour. I asked why, since they failed to do their job. Chris rudely told me that if it's a problem to have another pharmacy fill it. I went through the situation again and he told me to have the doctor send my script elsewhere. I hung up the phone since I was disgusted. I have been having my scripts filled at Rite Aid for at least 10 years. The staff here is nonchalant and could care less about helping you. I've been to this location tons of times over the years. Pharmacy is the worse. I'm sure they have crappy customers but I've been here with my mom and by myself and half the time they have no empathy for the customer. The front customer service staff are pretty helpful and nice. It just sucks that the pharmacy lags it especially when you're sitting there waiting for your refill. I call several times to ensure my refill is ready and when I get there I get the response with attitude "idk who you spoke to or if you spoke to anyone but we have nothing ready for you" .... bro I pull out my phone each and every time showing my phone records because they act like you're lying. Been going to this location for many years. Just had multiple vaccines in the last couple of months -- both Moderna CoViD shots, 1st shingles shot... I was told to come back today 12/30 for my 2nd shingles shot. So there I am, at the window: "I'm here for my 2nd shot." "Oh, you need to sign up for an appointment." "Well, I'm here now, and you have all my information." "Sorry, we can't sign you up -- you need to go online." "What about walk-in." "Walk-ins are only from 2-3pm, and we only take the first 20 people." So, I tried calling in to the pharmacy to speak with a manager -- multiple times -- and nobody answers. So, I tried calling the store manager, who informed me that he's not a manager over the pharmacy, and all appointments are handled 'through corporate.'" What a joke! I'll drive out of my way to go to CVS from now on -- never going back to Rite Aid, at any location. Negative NO stars - rude manager. Bad experience. Stopped in on Valentine's evening around 6:50pm feb14th 2019 and original wanted a scoop of vanilla ice cream and they ran out so I settled for cookie dough scoop of ice cream. I walked out the store sat in my car and tasted it and it tasted very gritty like I was sucking on sugar crystals and I ddnt like it. ( keep in mind I LOVE thrifty ice cream and prefer it over other ice cream so this just ddnt taste right to me ) So I went back inside and asked the nice register lady if I could just swap the scoop out for a purchase of a full tub of a Vanilla ice cream and cones and pay the difference. She said let me ask my manager she's our manger for now. The manager comes by and looks at me and aggressively says no we're not switching it out and walked away. I told the nice register lady if that's how you guys are going to treat people here maybe you should take your guarantee satisfaction note OFF your ice cream window. P.S even the website is big on customer satisfaction. The manager was a rude older Caucasian women.. maybe she's mad she had to work on valentines. Idk but her attitude was extremely funky. The pharmacy staff is the worst!! Unprofessional, rude and my prescriptions are almost never ready even when I call ahead of time. My biggest issue with them is their lack of professionalism and privacy. Nobody should know what my medications are for but me. Yet, there is also that one pharmacist who states it loudly enough that the entire store can probably hear. I am pretty sure that is a HIPPA violation. Not that it matters since they have been conducting business in this manner for years and nobody seems to do anything about it. I'm transferring out my prescription, every time I go seems I waiting more and more for my prescription l. It took almost 4 hours to get my medication from Rite Aid, after the referral from the Urgent Care. My son is suffering with an ear infection, and Rite Aid took 4 hours to prepare: Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Ibuprofen (Aspirin), a Saline Nasal Spray, and one of the most commonly prescribed antibiotics in the world, Amoxicillin. Aside from the Amoxicillin, the other three are actually over the counter. Because of the electronic nature of the prescriptions, I didn't have a copy of what was ordered, I just told them to send it directly to the pharmacy and I would pick it up there. What a sucker I am... I had to wait an hour in that line to watch one person check out customers that was never less than 10 people, and wasn't when I left. And this was to be told to come back 2 hours later! Where I waited on another hour long line! And IT STILL WASN'T READY!!! Took them another 10 minutes after I told them it's been almost 4 hours since it was called in. They also don't answer their phones.. I get they're busy, but people who are sick and need their medication don't have the luxury to hear that excuse. Maybe hire someone else to help at the counter. Maybe when it gets busy, call in for help. If I can avoid this pharmacy in the future, I will. read more

I stopped into this Rite-Aid because I was needing to get some more cowbell and some candy. This Rite-Aid didn't have any cowbell(most don't) but they did have an excellent candy section. They also had an ice cream section in store with over 10 flavors which was impressive. This Rite-Aid feels like most Rite-Aids which is good. Nothing crazy stood out, there were no smells, spills or unstocked shelves. A worker even asked if I needed help picking out some candy, which was nice. This Rite-Aid didn't leave a bad impression with me which is good and if I am ever in the area looking for candy or cowbell I'll be sure to come back here. read more

My son and I went in to get our Covid booster shots. The woman administering the shots was very rude. She actually rolled her eyes at me. because I had forgotten that I had given the counter person my shot card. When I was done, I left with my son (adult 39 years old). He says the lady asked him a question and when he didn't understand she repeated it loudly as if he was deaf or impaired. I'm retired and, in the past, worked at Customer Service for over 30 years. She is definitely one of the rudest Medical workers I have come across. read more

My mother is 75 years old. She has chronic pain caused by several issues which I won't list for the public. She has been getting her medication from this location for 5 years. Normally she doesn't have issues aside from one pharmacist who will question why she needs pain meds etc. she normally lets him know her condition and all is well. Today the same pharmacist questioned her again and asked her to have her doctor provide a summary of her diagnosis before he would refill her medication. My mother has had to chase down her doctor to get him to fax the pharmacist which isn't that simple. It's now close to the end of the business day and she is sitting here with no 30 day refill. Does RiteAid have a new policy? Why is a chronic pain senior citizen at the mercy of a pharmacist? Why is my mother having to do all the leg work to get a refill? Why would someone who has been treated with the same opioids (no increase in MG) for a medical condition be denied a refill knowing the physical and mental impact? The worst pharmacists ever. They have a sign on the site saying "for us it is personal", this isn't true. They don't give a damn about anyone and if you don't like it just go somewhere else. I went in there an hour and a half before they close and they refused to fill my prescription the same day even when it was too simple without any mixing involved. I was told from the pharmacist that it will be the next day or you can take your prescription somewhere else. They don't care about anyone, their customer service is awful. The name Rite Aid has been damaged by this pharmacy. Take your medication to Walmart or the Nuevo Pharmacy, both are much better if you need a quick service. read more
