I used this pharmacy for the last time. After being charged 300$ for a simple prescription for several months. This pharmacy finally dropped the price to 49$. For months they told me to call my doctor and insurance but both said they contacted the pharmacy and I should've never paid that much. Then I had my dosage change and they would consistently mess that up and request I call my doctor. I would call my doctor, speak directly to her and she would tell me the pharmacy is simply trying to make a profit from me because they knew I would just pay for my prescription instead of waiting days for them to magically fulfill my order. I witnessed the people at the pharmacy get into arguments and behave in an unprofessional manner. This was upsetting and difficult for me to deal with and not intervene. I saw a young cashier attempting to help me as I explained my scenario several times month after month and the pharmacist/doctor shush her. I switched to the CVS pharmacy next to Starbucks in reedley and haven't had a single issue. I just feel like someone canceled my transaction at Rite Aid after I left and created a 49$ charge and pocketed my 250$. read more

The rx techs here need some major customer service training. They are incredibly rude and slow. The pharmacists are always pleasant and helpful but techs need training! At least learn how to fake being nice!!! read more

1st visit: Charged wrong insurance even though I handed my current insurance card to her and said "Here is my new insurance card" 2nd visit: Prescription was not ready at time they said it would be. Made me come back the next day. 3rd visit: A) Charged wrong insurance again!! B) Used wrong address I haven't lived at for over 12 years C) Couldn't find my prescription (Even though I called in advance to make sure they had my prescription and they said it would be ready in an hour.) D) Couldn't guarantee my prescription would even be ready the next day. The young pharmacy techs have no clue about customer service. They don't take responsibility for the mistakes that are made, the miscommunication, incompetence and brush you off by telling you just to call the pharmacy AGAIN! We went in for ice-cream and they didn't have half of the flavors, they just stocked cartons of it in the space instead. The worker was rude about it when we asked, too. He just stood there expressionless like we were inconveniencing him. The rest of the store looked decent, but they need to rethink the people that they employ; the lack of ice-cream wouldn't have been a big deal had the employee been nice about it. read more

Why is it that rite aid has been refusing to fill my mother's much needed medicine? Sense when does a pharmacist have the right to refuse a customer a medication that they have been taken for years because they decided "she didn't need them"?
