I went in on Tuesday to pick it up and after standing in line for 15 minutes because there was only one person working the register, the technician told me it "wasn't ready yet" and they needed another thirty minutes to get it ready. I said what do you mean, 30 minutes? I ordered a refill on the computer line and it told me I could pick it up on Monday after 11. She said, "Well, that's the automated system. We'll get it started and it'll take 30 minutes to get it ready and you can wait for it." I said "What do I have to do to get a refill if calling the automated line doesn't do it? Do I have to come in here and ask an actual person for a refill in order to actually get a refill? What's the purpose of having a phone number to call to get a refill if that's the case?" She was not able to process what I was saying. She kept saying "It'll take 30 minutes and you can just wait for it." I said to forget it, this is ridiculous and I turned away to go and she tossed out a snotty "Have a nice daaay" as I was walking away and it made me so mad I got the manager involved. She was all "It's our fault, we're trying to catch up since Rite Aid closed, we're short-handed because no one wants to come and work for us because we're not offering enough pay, when you call the automated line you're the last in a line of 800 people then when you come to pick up your prescription we move you to the front of the line and fill it." Okay, so you're not really "working" on my refill and you need another 30 minutes to finish it up, you're actually waiting until I come in to pick it up to start it. I asked her the same question I asked the technician, if calling the automated line is pointless, what do I have to do to get a refill? Actually walk in to the pharmacy and request it from a person, at which time you will start working on it? She went back to the pharmacy and went behind the counter to fill the pill bottle and brought it to the cash register. As I was paying for it, she told me that since I was so unhappy with them this would be the last refill they would fill for me, like I hadn't already figured that out for myself. As I was driving home I got a text from Walgreens telling me my refill was ready to be picked up, good grief. They'll be going the way of Rite Aid any day now.

There's a very eclectic mix of items available. This is really a pharmacy and drugstore that has a pretty decent selection of candy, seahawks gear, and general Knick knacks. We were in search of a very specific over the counter medicine and they were one of the few places in town that had it. While I was there I found myself browsing through all of the Knick knacks and seahawks gear. The seahawks gear definitely isn't a bunch of jerseys, there's all sorts of seahawks decorations that were reasonably priced. Aside from that, their selection of bandages and general health care itema was pretty impressive. I really don't have much to compare a to cost wise, but everything seemed pretty reasonable. I was on a trip to see family and had to stop in to buy a car charger for my phone. Due to covid 19 when I got there it was confusing which door to go in. When I went in the wrong door I was asked if I work there? I said "no" and apologized. Seemed rude but partly just confusing. When I entered the store I couldn't help but notice that the store seemed a bit dingy, more so than other Walmart. Sorry just being honest haha. As for the customer service I received i can say that it wasn't the greatest but my mission was to get in and get out anyways. I never had to ask about where to find the item I needed. The cashier was the only real employee interaction that I had. She definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there but then again who would? When I walked back out of the store another embarrassing interaction happened with an employee. Guess I was going out a wrong door again which just confused me. Covid 19 has made things tricky for stores, i can definirely understand that. But the set up of this Walmart was a bit odd. Just saying.

I love the personal small town feeling at Wrays. They are local and perfectly placed in our little…read moresmall town " mall " with hair salons, nails, boutiques, and even a Pharmacy all located in one place which makes this town of Selah a perfect place to live and shop. Wrays has the friendliest, kindest checkers which makes my trips to the local grocery store more pleasurable. After a while they start recognizing you as a local and I have found that that is what keeps me coming back. Not to mention the fact that they have no self check outs. When a line gets too long there is always another employee to open another checkout station to shorten lines. Great customer service. Always love my experience shopping at the Wrays Grocery Store in Selah.

"VA bridge prescription." "The VA pain clinic in Walla Walla sends prescriptions through the mail." "The post office tracking number shows my prescription won't be delivered until Monday. So my VA doctor issued a bridge prescription." "The doctor from the VA. At the pain clinic. At the pain clinic at the VA hospital in Walla Walla." She just kept shaking her head and saying, "It shows you just received a 28-day prescription. So we can't fill this." Over and over again, like a mindless robot. No critical thinking, no suggestions. No "I'll call your doctor and talk to him." No "Have your doctor call me." She and the other numpties working there just stared at me like they thought I was trying to steal something from them. My VA doctor in Walla Walla had to drop everything and call this idiot and explain to her using even simpler words than I did what a VA bridge prescription is and TELL her what she needed to do with it. When I went back to pick up this prescription, she wouldn't look at me. I've transferred all of my prescriptions out of this pharmacy and over to the Fred Meyer pharmacy, where they employ capable, intelligent, knowledgeable pharmacists who know what a VA bridge prescription is and what to do with it. And the pharmacist illegally gives medical advice. Prescriptions are filled incorrectly. They don't put in the refills that were on the prescriptions. And they fill future DATED prescriptions, which is dangerous. Improper counting of number of pills. Pharmacist will argue with patients, medical staff and physicians.
