I think some of the reviews about OUTRAGE, concerning bringing in small kids to appointments, are really ridiculous! Just like other businesses that you generally DO NOT bring small children to, (ie. The IRS, DMV, Dentist, Doctor, or job interview, a tax appointment is no different!!! Their office is quite small, & appointments are closely scheduled back to back being TAX SEASON! Cliff & his staff need to be able to concentrate on their client's taxes as they file them, without mistakes & attention to detail. It is not the business's responsibility to expect staff there, to act like a makeshift daycare!!! As any of these disgruntled parents might be reading this, you are already aware, filing taxes can take some time, & by bringing small children to a tax appointment, you purposely delay other appointments that people have that are waiting, simply because you can't or don't want to hire a babysitter! It is not like you haven't experienced challenges with childcare before. So schedule a day when you can leave the kids with a sitter, and if you situation is one where you don't have that option, FILE YOUR TAXES YOURSELF ONLINE!!! Don't bash the business or owners for your own shortcomings! Bennett Income tax service, is an outstanding place when filing your taxes. I asked if I could claim my girlfriend as a dependent since I take care of her while she goes to grad school. I ended up doing so which gave a small refund but now my girlfriend can no longer get the tax breaks from school like last year because I had claimed her. It was a good amount of money. I feel like this is something the tax person should've known or asked about.
