I stayed here for 1 night for business…read more Pros: New hotel, as everything looks and feels clean. Very close to SFO - less than 10 minute drive. Friendly staff Cons: I specifically requested for a quiet room as I was there for business. For some reason they put a family with small children and a dog directly across from me. Around 10pm when I was getting ready to sleep, I hear a dog barking and kids running around in the hallway. On that point, the room walls seem awfully thin. You can hear different, subtle noises that can be distracting to a light sleeper. You can also hear planes fly by so I recommend bringing ear plugs. There is nothing in the area. You'll need to drive if you want to eat somewhere other than the on-site restaurant. No free breakfast

Finally, the shuttle arrived and he argued with me that he had been by. Checking in was rough. I received the incorrect room which was fine except that I called down to the front desk 4-5 times and no-one answers ever. I had to walk down to get what I needed. Now I need a wake up call and again, no answer. Go to either of the other Doubletrees but NOT this specific one. I am a flight attendant and no early shuttle so I am going to have to uber. VERY POOR SERVICE all around. If you depend on a shuttle - it is not dependable.

It's also relatively close to Burlingame for delicious food. The beds are comfortable and everything was absolutely clean and everything is as expected... But I think what's best is the gentleman at the front desk he was so kind and just very much took care of me. I didn't have any special request other than I needed to check in early to drop a bag for a client meeting. I love that I can count on Marriott to deliver exactly what I need when I'm booking my travel for work

We stayed in a suite which allowed us to have a pull out bed for the kiddo to sleep. It was nice to have two TVs but we quickly realized that we were competing with the sound and couldn't hear clearly what we were watching. UGH. Our bathroom was a pretty good size. The fan/vent wasn't working, but the water pressure was solid. There were none of the speciality lotions or soaps we normally find. Breakfast changed every day, and there were at least some cooked foods like eggs, bacon and turkey sausages. A few Costco baked goods like their mini blueberry muffins and bagels but at least it wasn't the whole spread. Conveniently located next to the freeway and relatively quiet. We were also were close to San Bruno and Millbrae. Some awesome places to eat!

We were on the 2nd floor in the 2nd building. Outside of the hotel looks much rougher than the inside. The room was clean, be aware there is no microwave or fridge in the rooms. Water in the shower takes quite a bit of time to get warm enough to get in, they did not provide wash cloths or soap on the sink only shower gel affixed to the shower wall. The door between the sink and bathroom/shower area was a pocket door that was loud & squeaky (not a big deal with just my spouse and I) the fan in the bathroom did not work and there was a large patched hole in the pocket door that was painted an odd color. We were here just for the night and we were really didnt sleep much with the excitement of our upcoming flight. Budget friendly. There is also an ihop right next to the lobby so you can eat around the clock.

Also, when I arrived to check in for parking at 8:50 am they only had one person at the desk trying to check out guests and accept those there for parking only like me, and thus person was extremely slow. While I was not a hotel guest. I heard two departing guests report that their neither their shower or phone worked in the room. One of the guests asked if there was another room to use for a shower, without looking up, the answer was no, he couldn't do anything, she would have to contact management. My advice, don't use them for airport parking or lodging.

Liza was apologetic for the issues in rm 103, and made sure rm 315 was move in ready when we got back from lunch. Came back a week later because we loved this place. But this time around the room not so much. Four of us stayed in room 103. Last week we stay upper floors and the room looked cleaner, fresher, etc.., The carpet in room 103 is a tripping hazard, old and ripped. We didn't want to change rooms because we were exhausted from a straight 8 hour drive. Only reason I have a 3 star instead of a 1 star is because the front desk ladies are fantastic. I heard it was gabbys last day. So at didn't get to see her. Probably on maternity leave. She was prego when at met her. Jaclyn was helpful as always. But Lauren was exceptional. Even after having a long day, and rough time with a previous guest before me, she still gave over the top service. Friendly, helpful, and talked to us more than guest, was more like we were friends. Will we come back? Sure we will but it'll have to be an upper floor better room not a tripping hazard. I'm with a couple senior citizens that nearly fell due to the carpet. I'll post a photo as soon as I can get some bright lights.

I picked this HGI because I had points and wanted an easy launching point to be able to explore South City and Daly City before heading to Pacifica for a relaxing drive down the beautiful Pacific coast. This hotel is in a business center of many many biotech companies. There is ZERO activity in the area on the weekends. The hotel was also so QUIET that I slept until after 12 noon and only woke up because someone happened to text me! I slept for 12 hours and completely missed the noon checkout time! I called downstairs, explained what happened to the sweetest staff person, and got an extension to wake up my brain/body and pack and get out the door! :0 Needless to say, I had a lovely stay. Sometimes you don't need the Four Seasons to rejuvenate. Soft sheets, hassle free service, easy parking, and a totally comfortable stay can be found here.

It doesn't have conveniences like a small fridge or microwave, but all I needed was a decent place to sleep. Upon arriving, the lobby was mainly closed off from foot traffic and only the front desk was accessible. Check in process was fairly easy and I requested for a room with easy parking lot access. Spaces are first come first served. Luckily I got one fairly close to the room. A standard queen room is small. Small TV, a chair by the window, a desk for work, an area to hang your clothes and a typical bathroom. Photos show an updated modern room. But up close details show chipped paint, cracked door, patched up holes and other minor imperfections Being a smoke free property, there's nothing to stop people from hanging out by their door and smoking, with the smell traveling a few rooms down right into mine if I open my door. Nearby, a few food places like Popeyes, Togo, Denny's, Sunk in' Donuts ... etc. Starbucks is 5 minutes away inside a gas station, and their staff has the least personality of all the ones I've been to. There's nothing special about this property. It borders an industrial business on the other side of the fence. I also don't feel it's really family friendly so I wouldn't have my kid stay here. But being very close to the freeway made this an easy choice for my needs. Good for a budget stay.

No coffee available anywhere on property unless you buy the full breakfast buffet, which doesn't open until 10:30. I arrived at 7:30 pm and it took 10 minutes until someone appeared to check me in. The pool has been drained, and there sounds like a family of frogs living in the stagnant water in the middle of the tarp. An extremely good location, paid for with points that were about to expire, are the only positive things I can say. The worst place I've stayed at in decades. A dead hooker under the bed would be an upgrade. Avoid at all costs until there is a total top-to-bottom renovation.
