The location itself (with the near to the Hauptwache) is very good and central. Service: They are really nice and always have a look at you. But sometimes you mix up your orders. I ordered maccaroni and got spaghetti. But the are very fast with drinks. Food: What really disappointed me, was the quality of the food. My noodles with sea food was not really good looking. Dont know who is dressing the food, but it was just one big mess with cheap tomate sauce and some frozen see food. Pizza was also very fatty and greasy. I was glad, that I did not order a pizza. Not sure, if it was also frozen pizza. Expectations before: The location looked good. Maybe the name "Zimt & Korriander" and the look of the location set the expectations before a little bit too high. What I did not expect was a ordenary italian restaurant.

However, if you like Italian food and are not too picky and you just want to be filled up with food for a really good price then this is the place for you. The price is decent for what you get. Basic pasta with basic sauce. Of course, there are different sauces but don't expect chunks of meat or mushrooms etc All in all, it's a good place for, like I said, getting filled up with so-so Italian food. When we arrived they took us straight to our table and immediately took our drinks order. I was offered a nice aperitif by the waiter and it was lovely. The owner then came to our table and blurted out what they had for dinner tonight. We worked through section by section and ordered our meals. He brought out the steak choice of the day we had and it looked delicious. I don't eat a lot of steak but this one looked so good, had to have it :-) I settled on a crayfish salad to start, a fig ravioli for second course followed by steak. I loved the pasta and steak. The crayfish was nice but didn't really grab me. Service was impeccable and I assume we got special treatment as the guy I went with has been a long time customer. I would happily come here again.
