I guess if you need somewhere basic to stay this would be okay. It's just another very generic,…read moresoulless apartment hotel. The decent size of the room was nice but how uncomfortable the beds were ruined it for me. There wasn't enough parking provided so we had to park on the street which was a bit annoying.

The dish had both grilled and buttered ones. The veggies accompanying the dish were very fresh. Highly recommended, especially with the local merlot from St Anne. We also had the battered barramundi fish and chips. Nicely battered and light. The local apple cider went well with it. As we were exiting the restaurant, we noticed the best restaurant plaque on one of the walls. It had been a regular winner in this town. A definite affirmation of its food

The motel was quite comfortable, and the rooms were a decent size as well. The last time my family ate here, they grabbed my wife's steak when she stepped out to use the restroom. After a really nice Father's Day dinner, my daughter wanted churros. You can't order food from the table, so we went to the cashier to order. My daughter said, "They're taking our drinks!" I looked over just in time to see that indeed they had cleared our table including our drinks. No drinks were offered to replace the drinks we ordered. No discount on our churros. No apologies. Bottom line, guard your table.

We have hired a houseboat from Luxury on the Murray each year for the last 3 years, and we love it…read more The houseboats are HUGE. When you step aboard, you'll find a big kitchen with a large fridge (for all your beer and maybe some food) next to a good size dining and lounge area. There's a big screen TV (not that you'll watch it much) and a large couch. The bedrooms on the boat are small but comfortable, each with an ensuite. Upstairs you'll find your BBQ, another dining table and a big heated spa. While on the river, you can go fishing and swimming. You can also hire a tinny or kayak from a place in Echuca to take with you. Let me just warn you upfront... the boats are pricey. You're looking at about $3k for a long weekend in Summer, so you'll want to split that with as many people as you can fit on the boat. It's a damn good way to spend a weekend.
