My neighbor gave me a driver, and my son and I went to Birdsfoot on a recommendation from another friend. We started out with talking to a couple golfers in the parking lot. They were pleasant people, told us where the driving range is and whatnot. We then went inside the clubhouse and got the tokens for the ball machine. Very pleasant staff, cold drinks in the cooler behind the counter, and the prices of the balls were cheaper than I expected. We got to the driving range, and it was awesome. We hit 4.5 big buckets between the two of us, and had a truly great time. We will be going back for sure.

We also ordered the zucchini planks, which were plentiful on the plate and paired well with the dipping sauces. My friend ordered a veggie wrap that came with a side of fresh fruit, and had nothing but positive things to say about the dish. We both ordered white wine (I had a pinot grigio and she had a riesling) to go with our vegetarian meals. Huge props to the chef, Matt! We loved it all! They renovated their main event spaces in early 2020, and we were very impressed with the classy look and feel of each room! Every person we met at Edgewood was friendly and attentive. Between the staff and members we had the chance to meet, I am confident that Edgewood has built a comforting and accepting community. Overall I would highly recommend this club!

Visited Stoney Creek for the first time today and it was great! Walked right in and went to the…read morecounter and ordered a small bucket of balls for $5 - I believe it was 35 golf balls. You will be given a receipt that has a number at the bottom. You will need that number to get your balls from the machine. To get the balls, you go to the machine and place your empty bucket at the bottom and you enter the number, and all the balls will fall out into your bucket. A side note - I was told you have to bring your own golf clubs. I have a set, but want to include that here so no one is caught off guard. At the driving range you have one covered area and two open areas. See the picture to see a snippet of the area. I like that they had a sheet that listed the yardage of each flag. I honestly had a blast here - I just started golf and took my first lesson last month. It was great to come here and put all that I learned together. Definitely will be back here in the future!

More egregiously was what I can only describe as a snotty teenager who decided to give me an unprompted attitude for not returning the cart where (apparently) I was supposed to. I dropped it off right behind all of the parked carts where I thought it was supposed to go before rudely hearing "That's not where they go, park it over here where it's supposed to go." Maybe put up a sign advising where cart returns should go or don't employ folks that shouldn't be talking to customers.

I read a few reviews that didn't give 5 stars for value - ARE YOU KIDDING???? I know of brides that didn't get clean linens downown, they were linens left on the appetizer tables from the night before. At Laube, they allow you decorate on Friday and then come back on Saturday if you aren't finished. NEVER has anyone told me this happens at any other banquet facility.
