When I first ordered from Ogilvie Pizza I was a bit meh about it(read my previous review) but happened to order again and it might be one of the better pizzas in the east end of town. Whenever it's pizza night the fam and I usually choose Ogilvie. If you are looking for a classic pizza joint, greasy pizza, loaded with cheese with crispy, chewy crust this place will not disappoint.

But it's basically $30 a large and that very quickly gets very expensive. This is really, really good pizza though. The crust, the dough, the cheese and the sauce. Especially the sauce. So good. And when you get that craving, it hits the spot. We ordered a Canadian and a Meat Lovers, and we got a Combination and Meat Lovers, but we're so hungry and I love Combo pizza so we ate it. Like Bob Ross would say, "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents ". We'll go with that! If I was back here and had a decent job, I would likely order from here once in awhile, but probably not all the time because of the cost. Still tastes great though!

Last night after covering the media night at the opening of for wheelies rollerskating rink, I told the Uber to take me right to House of Georgie and I sat there and had a couple of pepperoni slices while watching videos on my phone. The Long Version: Topper's Pizza is a Canadian chain that was founded in Sudbury, ON in 1982 (it's not to be confused with Toppers Pizza (without the apostrophe) which is an American chain). It's not as popular as Pizza Pizza or Domino's and only has a handful of locations in Ottawa. What I love about Topper's Pizza is their whole wheat crust option (which is available without an extra charge). The whole wheat crust gives it a nutty flavour and I like the texture. I saw on my UberEats app that they were having a BOGO (buy one get one free) deal: $10.80 for 2 small cheese pizzas. I ordered for pickup and it was ready in about 15-20 minutes. The pizzas were great. They were a bit saucier than I like, so I think I will get "light" sauce next time. The amount of cheese was adequate and crust was excellent. Staff were pleasant at pickup. It's a takeout joint only. No place to dine in. Although they have 3 seats where you can sit to wait for your order. The restaurant is in a plaza (same plaza as Green Fresh Supermarket) with lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot. Review #44 (2026)

I dropped by as I was driving home and noticed it. They were selling slices and I ended up grabbing a pepperoni slice. The owner is super friendly and really goes out of their way to ensure you get the order the way you like. He tossed my slice in the oven and asked if I wanted anything else on top of the pizza which is really a nice touch. $3.75 for a slice which I think is standard in town. Not a large slice by any means but it's somewhere between a Gabriel's and a Pizza Pizza slice. It's a medium thick and not as heavy as the Gabriel slice. Will try to grab a full pizza from here to see how it is fresh. If you're in the area give it a shot and report back!

I got ham, mushrooms and green peppers as my toppings. Somehow the total came out to $17 taxes in. Now we pay a lot of taxes, but $13.50 plus 13% is certainly less than $17. If you've raised your prices, change your signs, even if it's with masking tape and a Sharpie. They put their toppings under the cheese, which seems to be an Ottawa thing, that I despise, but my husband likes it. I got ham, mushrooms and green peppers. The ham was sliced, as were the mushrooms and the green peppers were diced. The amount of toppings was sufficient, but I would have preferred them on top of the cheese. The crust was thick and was ok, but not particularly tasty, in my opinion. I personally did not find the pizza anything special. Service was neutral. Wait time was 25 minutes. If you like your toppings under the cheese and your crusts thick, you can give this place a try. I personally prefer thin crust pizza with toppings on top of the cheese, so I will pass in the future. There are seats inside to eat-in and there are tables outside on the patio too. They sell other items like hot chicken sandwiches and donairs in addition to pizzas. Street parking only.
