Seriously if you are looking for a church or seeking growth in your spirituality and you live in the Lake Minnetonka area this is the place for you! The people here are very friendly and span many generations (kids, teens, young adults, young families, adults, and senior citizens). They have a beautiful new building unlike any church in the Tonka area (it's a must see!). They have incredible programs for all ages. This place has an great Youth Ministry. And because of that, this is one of a small group of churches that students are bringing their parents as opposed to the common trend where parents drag their kids to church. All that to say, this is not a church where your kids will be bored but instead will want to come back. The worship/music is top notch and excellent. They do a great job of creating an environment where you can worship. River Valley has a original music and can be found online (iTunes, Spotify, Beats, etc). Their music group names are GoKids Music, River Valley Live, River Valley Youth. The great thing is I can go forever but it wouldn't be fun. Instead come visit and check for yourself. Love this church so much! We went here for 5 years while we lived in the twin cities. We love love love our River Valley fam! Lead Pastors Rob And Becca are the real deal and genuinely love God and love people. This church believes in investing in their community through local projects, investing in children and young people (amazing Gokids programs, YTH, and they send high school juniors and seniors on missions trips at no cost), investing in marriages (marriage night), and world missions (millions given every year through kingdom builders!) Campus pastors Zeus and Tawsha are sincere, hilarious, fresh and authentic. You will love them and grow in your walk with the Lord at this church! read more
