I expressed concern to both Maria and her son that the blade on the unit was wore out. Tom's son told me he would give me a replacement blade and the tools to replace it. The edger was crap- blade worn out. 114 degree heat index, I took a break then tried to replace the blade. Problem- the tools didn't fit- and Tom's son charged me over 9 dollars for the blade! I would say the price is definitely expensive but they wrapped all my furniture with blankets then topped it with actual furniture wrap. Loaded and unloaded the truck in a very organized manner. And they drove from point A (NJ) to point B (IL), mind you that's a 14 hour commute, in one day (they stopped to sleep for the night). It was really a flawless experience. We chose the expedited option for our move so that's also why it was more expensive and what we were quoted didn't change at all because of the move option we chose. Not a huge selection, but again, they are being phased out on the natural fireplaces. My Husband and his Brother did the installation themselves bc KBL's guy was having surgery and doing it ourselves saved a lot on labor. Kevin at KBL was fantastic from start to finish. Excellent salesman and willing to talk and educate you on whatever you need in regards to your home build. He also promised to take back whatever parts we didn't need after the installation....and he did. We are now having some warranty work and we feel confident it will all go fine. KBL is lucky to have Kevin!
