He provided a Bluetooth speaker, and a chest with ice. He timed the sunset perfectly for us to have the ceremony. It was very relaxing, smooth ride and none of us got sea sick. I highly recommend for a different way to celebrate in New Orleans. The only downside is the Bathroom is small and tight. If you have mobility issues or are plus sized, this may be an issue for you.

BYOB the day I went so we knew we loved the drinks and food we brought, but he had the cooler and ice all set up. Much cheaper for my crew rather than overpriced drinks!) There is a great covered area to the boat if you don't want to sit in the sun. Whenever the water gets choppy, Vegas will drive the boat further out. Since they only do one cruise a day, you don't feel rushed and can enjoy exactly the day you want. And his dogs are so cute and quiet and well behaved! New Orleans is a fantastic city, but sometimes it's nice to be able to take a step away with some friends and enjoy the water. *Special Note: Apple Maps does not know where this address is, but Google maps does

I selected the 6PM seating time so that I would be done with the meal by the time the Steamboat Natchez starts moving around 7PM. The dining area interior space was lovely and expansive with chandeliers, as well as a stage area. Each table had a bowl of Caesar Salad placed there already. Lettuce was nice and crunchy, with plenty of tangy dressing and croutons. Upon being seated, the server took drink orders and I selected Iced Tea (one of the complimentary beverages being offered). The Iced Tea was sweet and refreshing. Next, we were served Gumbo with rice, which was warm, flavorful, and comforting. As for the buffet, there was Shrimp Pasta, a few different saucy dishes made with veggies and meat, potatoes with bacon and peas, Prime Rib, Fried Chicken, and Green Beans. I really enjoyed the Shrimp Pasta, which was made with creamy, well seasoned sauce, and tender shrimp. The saucy dishes were cooked well and bold in flavor. Prime Rib was a little tough. Fried Chicken was delightfully crispy, but a bit on the dry side and could have used more flavor. Green Beans had a perfect consistency with yummy seasoning. For dessert, I tried both the Bread Pudding and Cheesecake with tasty coffee. Both were delicious in their own way. Bread Pudding was dense, with a milky, velvety smooth topping, while the Cheesecake was more light and airy, yet still rich. Service was solid. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Everything (drinks, appetizer, dessert, coffee) came out in a timely manner and the main dishes were part of the buffet. When done eating, I went out to take in golden hour sunset, then headed up to the top deck, where I found a seat. Live jazz music was performed throughout the evening. It was a perfect night for feeling the wind in my hair, watching the skyline go by along the Mississippi River, and the twinkling lights of the city as the sky turned dark. I really enjoyed myself on this iconic Jazz Cruise along Mississippi River.

The second half the jazz band plays. Throughout the cruise you're allowed to roam around visit the bars on each end and even the engine room! Bar had good options from local beers to specialty cocktails and you could even buy snacks! I had a sweet tooth and got a chocolate covered elephant ear which was literally the size of my head! Cruise was long but it was nice to just sit around and see the city from a different view!

The instructions on the voucher said to call to schedule. I called, and the guy on the other end confirmed me for 1 PM Friday. OK, fine. So after driving all the way out to where they are, I call them again, since there is no signage anywhere. The same guy on the phone picks up, and asks if I have a credit card with at least $500 on it. On the Yollar page, all it says in terms of a credit card deposit is: "Must sign credit card waiver and damage waiver." No amount is stated. I tell the guy this and he says, "Oh, sorry." Like, seriously, you couldn't have mentioned the $500 WHEN I CALLED YOU YESTERDAY? Forget it. I emailed Yollar, and they were very nice, promising me that a refund would be forthcoming. If I want to go jet skiing, I'll drive to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach, which will be infinitely easier (and cheaper, Joe Rugs overcharges out the A**). I'm also very suspicious of Patrick F., who seems to have signed up for a Yelp account for the sole purpose of giving Joe Rugs 5 stars.

It's worth the money to have room, food, entertainment, activities, and several destinations in a one stop shop and reasonably priced. Pros: -Awesome ports of call (Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel) -Many diverse food options (Mongolian, Indian, Italian, burgers, pizza, bbq, etc) -24/7 food -Nightly shows/Entertainment -Excellent customer service -Clean room -Clean ship (people were always cleaning and wiping) -Easy embarkation/debarkation -Daily ship agenda outlining all of the activities -Carnival hub app (offers tips, weather, ability to book excursions with a click) -Chef's table, 100% worth the extra cost -Staff takes the time to learn names, making the cruise more personal -Didn't feel overcrowded -Gym and running/walking track on board -Ocean Views (so relaxing from the balcony every night) -Adults only deck -Hard working cruise director (involved in everything) Cons: -The best food was open limited hours (12pm-2:30pm) -Steak House (paid extra and food and service was lacking) -The spa is expensive! Double what you would pay on land There was honestly so much to do that we didn't even have time to get to the arcade, mini golf, comedy shows, water slide, and piano bar. I'm looking forward to our next cruise so we can explore different destinations and participate in more ship activities.

I think that instead of "all you can eat" and $10 drinks, I kind of felt like instead of "kitty litter beach" (paradise beach in Cozumel)- I would have felt better on land rather than having to evacuate the rear pool deck for an emergency coast guard helicopter landing. (The doc gave her the ok to go on a cruise in her 9th month with pending triplets). Seriously Someone said "oh no, there was a woman AND a man. (I wonder what happens if she delivers in international waters, do the children have "international citizenship" I must admit that with a heavy LGBT presence, we ran into a few wives. They were mostly "fem". FYI, even though I am "evangelical" at heart. Through friends and (indirect) experience, most people don't understand that in a gay relationship there is a dominant and a subservient participant. It can just be really confusing to middle Americans when a man gets a sex change to become a woman only to hookup with woman making the best attempt at being a man. (Like chastity bono). They tend to look like "pat" from SNL and almost androgynous- or like "Stewart" from SNL- seriously, but please don't take offense. To be honestly objective, I had to fight the girls off (my wife) and this is the worst place for anyone in recovery. They have alcohol tastings (but if you buy this alcohol, they store it like a gun in court) - you get it when you leave the ship. Food, tobacco, gambling (plus a $65 phone bill) if you're anyplace BUT Mexico. We spent most of our time at "siete y once" (7-11 food store)"on the strip" because the beer was $1 US. Everything else is double the price. The medical doctors there are excellent, because almost everything is OTC. Albeit, if you come "from the ship"- you become an instant piggy bank. You tend to enter a "price rape van" being on an island. On the inside of the ship it honestly looked like Trump towers, and although they sell every T-shirt and bracelet known to man, they are more like "Disney does México" rather then on the mainland, or if you take a 5 minute ride past the main strip, you get to see "the real Mexico". Like unpaved roads, no guardrails with a 200 foot drop off 6" past what seemed to be like Hwy 1 in California. Just to mess with so many "wanna buy a t-shirt" requests, I asked them, do you have " I love trump " and they got offended. By the time I explained how the US really is, I had an audience. I said in Spanish "I don't want a wall!?!" For example: "if I have a pool in my yard do I want to build a wall around it, or should I cut a hole in the fence??? Think about it. Idk?
