I thought because Rivercenter Collision is owned by Performance Lexus, that the company would value integrity. It doesn't. In fact, a situation I will describe sounds like fraud. It did something that appears to me to be defrauding State Farm Insurance. SUMMARY Rivercenter Collision accepted an approved estimate and service itemization from State Farm. After that, and without my knowledge, Rivercenter decided to do much less work but charged the same price as the estimate. The estimate included painting and blending a quarter panel and rear door, as well as replacing the racing stripe. Not only did Rivercenter not inform me, prior to doing the lesser work, but also the company did not inform State Farm so that my insurance company would decrease the approved cost. Note, had they needed to do more work, Rivercenter would have issued a supplemental estimate. But because supplemental would have meant less money, Rivercenter purposely did not file one. Rivercenter mysteriously did less work and suggested popping out a small dent compost as much as a repair and paint job. Thru failed to notifying as to their divergence rom the estimate until it was competed and during the process of me receiving my car. Hence, I believe the company defrauded State Farm. I'm filing documentation, recommending Riverside Collision never be placed in State Farm's preferred vendor list. I have documentation to prove what happened. NOTE: I had this work done 500 miles from where I live, in the Greater Washington DC area. I noted my dispute on their paperwork and my receipt. My new Lexus was scratched when i parked the car into garage, so checked with Lexus, this is the Bodyshop they use. I called, made appointment for estimate, came and it was done quickly, and I receive the estimate few hourly later. After contact the insurance, insurance revised their estimate a bit. Made another appointment with the Bodyshop to send my car in for repair, the waiting period is almost 3 weeks. I send in on a Londay morning, and was able to get it back on Thursday afternoon, which is pretty good. The only thing i found interesting is i found from my Lexus app that the bodyshop drove my car for 1 mile but it took them 44 minutes to finished this one mile. I don't know what they are doing. That's something interesting. Everything else works well. read more
