    Kids play area.

This mall could use a good deep clean. Everything about this mall screams, "failing!" The food court is run down, bathrooms were dirty, kids play area needs to be replaced because it is worn down. I brought my kids here to play and go to a couple stores. We did not get that far because Of the condition and questionable people that were there. One lady kept watching me and my kids at the play area. She did not have kids and kept Getting on and off of her phone. Made me feel really uncomfortable so we left. I do not recommend this mall for families.

This mall is your standard mall in just about every way. It doesn't offer the higher-end boutiques of Green Hills. It doesn't boast the size of Cool Springs. It does, however, cover all the basics in a decent way. I don't imagine every saying to myself "Oh, yay! We're going to Rivergate Mall!" but I also don't imagine myself saying "Damn, isn't there anywhere else?" My main distaste for it is that it just doesn't offer anything special in content or decor. If all you want is a no-frills shopping trip for the basics, however, Rivergate Mall is a great place for you.

Malls are going the way of the drive in movie theaters This still flourishes mall walkers and a carousel food court and yummy food smells - the cookie store mmmmmm

It's a smaller mall with some pretty decent stores. Opre mills is much nicer but this gets the job done.

It doesn't have a huge selection of stores but there are alot of stores in the area and the mall itself is grounded with four large department stores (JC Penny, Dillards, Macy's and Sears).

They have a Dave and…read moreBusters, Rainforest Café, a movie theatre, an escape room, and a big carousel in the food court area. Opry Mills combines shopping, dining, entertainment, and activities for the whole family. I LOVE that this mall is indoors. I feel like outdoor malls are the trend in the South, and I hate how on a rainy or cold day (yes, it gets cold), you have to brave the elements to go from store to store. Not here. Some of the stores here are outlets, and some are regular mall stores. I saw plenty of sales, and the selection in the stores was generally good. I shopped at the LOFT outlet and found a larger selection than other LOFT outlets I've been in. The Kate Spade outlet also had a good selection, although I didn't buy anything there (I love their products). The food court is excellent with both chain options as well as some spots that seem to be more local to Nashville. I opted for Panda Express, and it was just like every other Panda Express, but sometimes that's what you want in a food order meal. I wish my hometown had a mall like Opry Mills- all of ours are outdoor or have a lot of vacancies. If you're visiting Nashville or staying at the Opryland Hotel, definitely come to the mall for a fun afternoon.

This is one big mall, I think it's one of the biggest malls I've been to. (It's split into 2 mall…read moreavenues.) On top of that, it's busy and economically alive. I didn't see any vacant store fronts or anything needing repair, unlike most malls of today. I was here because my wife & daughter wanted to do some shopping. If you're in Nashville and need to shop, here's your place!
