Premium is "out of service" but still advertised on their sign. Waste of time since there's no shells in the area.

Unfortunate experience this morning 9:00am after meeting with the mechanic for a wiper blade refill replacement. I was informed he only had 1 blade he would order the other to come back in 1 hour at noon I was informed the part was in route by Uber within an hour. After 2:15 without notice went back to the station where the mgr Sam or Stan Lumpkin rudely said he will only replace the blade if I buy the wiper arm as well. More Expensive Than Competitors In Close Proximity - No Thanks SITREP When you have a car rental, and you have to fill up the tank, I don't have a long-term relationship with this vehicle, nor am I obliged to go into serious analysis of different gas vendor's product qualities. THE SETUP That said, YES, I look for the cheapest gas. This place is not it by a lonnnng shot. I will take the time to drive in - as on this occasion - to see if the pump price matches the advertised price on the street sign (and much to my astonishment, I have found that many Southern California gas stations do not have their prices synced up - most were more expensive at the pump, but a couple were cheaper, so I got the gas there on those occasions. REPUTATION Not a fan of shell; not a fan of it's bad environmental record; not a fan of it's practice of gouging prices any chance it gets. Still, if there is a Shell on a corner of a major intersection where there are 4 different gas stations on each corner, I WILL go get my gas from Shell IF it is the cheapest. In this instance, in Riverside, during these two weeks, consistently farrrrrr from it. So I drove out of Shell and went to it's competitor across the street. WHY TWO STARS INSTEAD OF ONE? Though not a fan of their primary business purpose (gas), there were a few occasions due to it's close proximity to work and my motel, to jump into the mart, grab a gum, a drink, and/or a munchie. Got jipped, this gas station claims to accept fuel rewards but it didn't work for me The 5 cents promo doesn't work here The cashier will purposely skip to the next screen and not allow your fuel rewards to go through and then later claim the system was down once you have already fueled up. read more

Sure, this gas is more expensive than others in close proximity but that is also like comparing a 99cent store to Target or even a Elf Cola to a Coca Cola. Sure, they're the same thing, but obviously it boils down to a matter of preference. One thing I like about this gas station is that cash price is also for debit card since many gas stations charge credit card price even if you use your debit card. Place is clean. It is true that it's right across from a cheaper gas station but it's only cheaper by 10 cents and I'd rather put shell or chevron gas in my BMW than a cheap gas and mess up my engine. read more

The mechanic miguel, over prices everything and charges you twice the labor hand for things that wont take more than a minute, I went there with a couple problems, two of them failed in less than a week the air conditioner wouldnt work and he put the wrong oil fro the motor... It's a gas station, and it's right across from a cheaper gas station. What makes this place better? Honestly, nothing. Save your money and go to Thrifty's across the street! They also have a MUCH larger snack area which is really surprising because I've never seen a Thriftys besides the one across this Shell. read more

This place has pretty cheap gas for a shell gas station. I only pay cash here though.

This Shell illegally closes at random times during the night. Just went there to get gas and they had a hand written sign saying they're closed for 30 minutes. The hours posted say they are open 24 hours a day. I think it's highly unprofessional for the employees to decide to close for random amounts of time when the business hours say they are suppose to be open 24 hours a day read more
