I see a handful of negative reviews about the Arlington, so I wanted to write about just how sweet…read morethe people are that work here. Genuinely, from the maintenance workers to the managers, they are all the sweetest apartment staff I have ever met. Every single one of them. They are always willing to help when you communicate with them. This is my senior year, and second year living here and I have loved every bit of it. People don't realize that there are always going to be issues with apartments and maintenance that has to be figured out, it's part of living in an apartment complex. Many of these issues are out of the staffs control. But regardless of the issue, the staff is always more than happy to help. A lot of people write negative reviews but they don't realize just how nice these people are and how hard they try to accommodate to *hundreds* of residents. It's far from an easy job...but they always do it with a smile on their faces. They always try their best. It's easy to complain about issues that are bound to happen, but I'll always give the Arlington employees the credit they deserve. Thank yall for always helping us out.

Our cottage was disgusting when we moved in. Management wrote it off and told us we would be…read moreresponsible for cleaning up. Dog hair everywhere (none of us had animals), mold in the washer, absolutely disgusting carpets, leaks, rotting food in the fridge, everything you could think of. We asked for our sofa to be cleaned (dog hair and odd stains all over it) , they told us we could do it ourselves. We asked for the carpets to be professionally shampooed (dark stains all over the carpet and what we found out to be dog poop caked in) , they told us it was our problem. When we moved out, we got charged for cleaning all of the issues that we addressed during move in. Documented all of this on their move-in inspection sheet, yet they still opted to charge each roommate a fee for the issues that they were so unwilling to resolve. If you move into a unit that has a tenant who is re-signing, they will not clean the common spaces (they explained this to me personally). One of our roommates re-signed, yet we are getting charged to clean common space areas. Which means, they will be charging a fee for an area that they themselves have admitted will not be cleaned. They are money hungry, they will attempt to take every dollar they can, under the guise of a miscellaneous fee. There are rats all over the property who destroy the bags they provide for their valet trash, only bringing forth more vermin and pests. The managers never directly meet or speak to the residents. They hide in the back office and force the front desk staff to deal with complaints, that way nothing ever really has to get resolved. Whoever runs this company is deplorable and I truly hope that everyone refrains from living here.

Park Rowe Village at Perkins Rowe - I have personally received invasive wounds on my legs from these swings and had to get medical treatment for a tetanus shot.

I encourage anyone considering this property to read the reviews carefully. I wish I had…read more Leasing manager Cindy is unprofessional and disorganized. The very first morning after moving in, I walked outside to discover my car had been booted. The leasing manager had provided me with a parking map, and I parked in the area labeled as visitor parking. To make matters worse, when my daughter called the office that morning, the representative she spoke with was rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. The key fob didn't work. We were told it would be activated by the end of the day. That never happened. The next day, we were told they had forgotten, the office was now closed, and maybe it would be working by Monday. That's simply unacceptable for new residents. The apartment itself was also not move-in ready. The bathroom cabinet is missing a door, the refrigerator is missing a glass shelf, and there is paint splattered all over the wood flooring. These are basic issues that should have been addressed before anyone received the keys. This community advertises itself as a luxury apartment complex, but nothing about this experience has felt luxurious. This has been, without question, the worst move-in experience and the poorest management I've ever dealt with. I do not recommend this property

Update - 4/21 for Park Rowe Village. The Bad…read more... - Hot tub has not been repaired. (almost 3 months now) - Main pool is showing signs of black algae. - Pool lounge chairs continue breaking and have not been replaced. - Grills operate poorly throughout complex. - Flame water fountain still broken. - Tiles around pool remain broken. - Have not received any written correspondence from management on when all issues will be repaired, yet told everything will be repaired. - Spikes remain on swings in courtyards. The Good..... - The pool is not green - Dangling Light above grill was "zip tied" repaired. - The landscaping was upgraded with mulch and trees/bushes trimmed. I'm sure there will be a nice response from management stating " all is being addressed yet will take time". My question is, HOW MUCH TIME?? I'd just like to know the priority status of these issues. Is it making things look pretty for future tenants or to take care of the current tenants needs to retain their leases.
