I also just have a ridiculous amount of tension on the right side of my body; to the point of getting numbness in different extremities for weeks on end. Bruce is my saving grace. I've seen plenty of chiropractors over the years, but there isn't anybody that helps me like Bruce does. He's incredibly knowledgeable with his understanding of muscle and tissue and has conveyed it to me in ways I understand, and when it comes to what he actually does, it's somewhere between a chiropractor with x ray vision, a physical therapist, an incredible massage therapist. I've never had my whatever "cracked" here, and I have to say I'll never go back to a typical chiropractor again. Also, no weird spiritual stuff like a lot of these places, just medicine and friendly smiles. Really though, Bruce worked with my local trainer to come up with a plan, and in a 3 month period we had directly targeted a lot of my problem areas causing them to finally let go, increased muscle mass in those areas, and I literally stood about an inch taller, with almost no back pain what so ever. He even did a session with my wife in the room, showing her how to best address my back at home. I send people to see Bruce if they mention some sort of muscle issue, because the first appointment is free (I'm pretty sure it still is). A good majority of my tension and pain has gone, but I still keep going because what he does leaves me feeling really relaxed, and it helps me stay on top of any issues. I was having back pain problems and hip pain. I went to another chiropractor that was recommended…read moreby a family member. The doctor didn't even do the initial consult but left it to an office staff and the only adjustment type he used was the "manipulation" method, which stopped working for me many years ago. On the second visit the staff assistant told me that my insurance would only pay for 18 more visits and that my co-pay was $25. Which was strange as I'd called my provider and they gave me no limit to number of visits and said my co-pay was $20. ???? Then she showed me the "plan". It wasn't a contract but if I'd signed on the dotted line it would be 52 visits. I declined and said I'd pay-per-visit. After three visits I could tell this was not working. I next found Dr. Singleton (from a friend). One of the additional methods he used was the activator, which works for me. He did the initial consult and in the process told me that my back problem was a muscle problem and told me how to treat it separately. He also provided a list of exercises to help. It worked! After maybe a dozen visits both problems were gone. Strangely enough, co-pays were only $20 and he tapered me off with a few visits spaced out weeks apart. I'll definitely go back to him for tune-ups as needed.
