There is a fabulous fine dining restaurant, an elegant bar and a restaurant out on the jetty. It's quite an experience to sit back and enjoy a delicious cocktail or meal in such exquisite surroundings! Definitely go if you have a chance.

The sun lounge area to the beach is shockingly over occupied with millimetres from sun lounger to sun lounger this is due to the management allowing the public to use all the facilities at a price which leaves the paying guests forced to be packed in like sardines. Why the hell do they allow this to the general public when it's only a small place. They obviously do not care about the paying customers as they have already taken your money which is extremely expensive. The bar area in the late afternoon and evening is the same, small space which would be fine but again open to the general public. Felt really uncomfortable with it being so packed. I blame the manager for this, he was totally rude and did not care about anything. He was totally uneducated with the surrounding area and with his staff. I asked him what restaurant options we had available as it was a Sunday, his reply was "the fancy restaurant " to which I replied you mean the Michelin Star restaurant. WHAT A CLOWN. We are fortunate enough to have a sports car to which we wanted to drive to St Tropez and asked the manager the best way to find a secure parking spot, his reply " get valet parking from one of the hotels in the area, there is a new hotel in the centre which you could do this but can't remember the name, might be Hotel De Paris" I replied saying that hotel has been there for over 20 years. WHAT A CLOWN Overall, extremely poor, not relaxing, not worth the money, poor service. Sea area extremely congested, bar area extremely congested Left this place feeling extremely angry and feel like we have been robbed of a large amount of money. Be warned a lot of the good reviews are from the public using the hotel's facilities

My man and I landed upon this adorable B&B by accident and good karma. We arrived in Antibes with no reservation, as we chose to travel through Europe with 2 passports, a GPS device (affectionately named Gladys) and a rental car. Hotel la Jabotte was a property recommended by Rick Steve's in one of his books, but the book's description did not pay it justice. First, I wanted (still do) to be best friends with Yves and Claude and perhaps figure out a job in the property that would afford me the lifestyle they live daily in charming Antibes. Since that did not happen and I am back to reality, I feel compelled to mention that this was my favorite property of all the hotels we stayed at throughout Europe. It was far from the most expensive, but not the least expensive of the properties we paid patronage. Warm, accommodating, thoughtful details, affordable but not lacking, with a wonderful location.... I awoke in the morning to enjoy the complimentary and delicious breakfast, but my husband was not feeling well. Claude noticed he did not join me. I wrapped up, headed back to the room to take a shower, and when I emerged.... Claude had set up a special breakfast on the patio outside our room for my husband to enjoy! Fantastic and unsolicited service. Thank you Hotel la Jabotte for creating an everlasting memory for us! Cheers!

The staff is eager to please and ensure that you have a pleasant stay. The first floor has a coffee bar and cafe (note that breakfast is not included). There are three floors of rooms, its funny because every review I've read says they stayed on the top floor, we did too. And yes - no elevator, but we needed to work off all the bread we were eating in France. The rooms are modern, very clean, and air conditioned. The bathroom is well sized and has heated towel bars. There is a phone, a safe, free wifi, and TV. In the morning, you awaken to not the sounds of buses as we feared, but church bells and birds. I highly recommend this hotel. It happens to also be a Rick Steve's pick.

It had all the standard comforts one expects and everything worked. There's free wi-fi, but unfortunately I didn't realize that I should have gotten the password when I signed in. There was very good continental breakfast in the restaurant, for hotel guests, even on days that the restaurant is closed. The service was very good. The most impressive thing was the condition of the room and restaurant, the choice of decor and the cleanliness of everything. It was stunningly beautiful and clean and in excellent taste.

With that said some weird quirks apply to the room, such as my bath/shower not having a curtain, and every time I shower, it means soaking the entire bathroom. The reception was kind enough and they gave me a good room. The elevator that took me up is basically for one person. This place is historic as Ella Fitzgerald stayed there. Some other famous people were there as well, but I can't recall their names. The room had a nice closet, great bathroom, wonderful shower, large tub, comfortable bed, and excellent tv. The gym and sauna were adequate. The breakfast was great for people on the go who need food early. They opened at 7:30am. The place is located close to Pine Beach, a good spot to walk, and near Antibes. You have to walk about twenty or thirty minutes to get to old town Antibes. It is doable. The local scene is quiet, the Juan les Pins and Antibes area are not as vibrant as Paris, so the scene is more subdued. In the offseason this place is quiet. The pool was cozy, but some guy walked in from the street and it was awkward. All in all, this place is a great find for people in Juan les Pins traveling to the convention center, or looking to enjoy the area.
