The hotel left quite mixed impressions. The resort complex itself I would rate positively - plenty of different pools, entertainment for both adults and children, a convenient location by the sea, and a wide selection of restaurants. The service was friendly, and the food was really tasty. However, the room quality was disappointing. Water in the shower drained poorly, some items were broken, and during the nights our family suffered unpleasant bites, apparently from bed mites. For this reason, I would recommend choosing only rooms with a private pool - there are several types available, some offering more privacy than others. Having paid around €8,000, I expected a higher level of comfort. We really couldn't have asked for a better first trip to Antalya... Based on our travel agent's recommendation as well as knowing the Rixos reputation, we picked Tekirova. Everything - from the location to the amenities - were flawless. For those of you unaware (as I was), Antalya is full of luxury all-inclusive resorts similar to what you can find in Mexico. These behemoths require you to do absolutely nothing - simply arrive and then you never have to leave. Food, cocktails, entertainment, tennis, spa treatments (all of a pretty high caliber) are all on site. While this might not be appealing all the time, if you just want to get away and do absolutely nothing but relax beachside while someone keeps the mojitos coming, I can't think of a better place than Rixos Tekirova. It's impeccable - from service to cleanliness. Yes, it's a little further out in Kemer and yes, it's HUGE. But, I think it's well worth it.
