Rize is a place that I have had bookmarked for months so when a friend asked for a pizza option, it was only right. Being in the Delco area I have found out the hard way that most pizzerias do not sell slices however Rize does!!! Jackpot!!! I called to see if there was a specific time they stopped selling slices & asked what slices were available. My simple question ended with me being hung up on! While they do sell slices all day I guess the person who answered the phone wasn't interested in sharing what was available so they ended the call. Based on that two minute phone exchange Rize has been removed from my bookmarks. If my questioning isn't good enough to answer, either is my money. read more

Kind staff and good looking pizza, but it tastes average at best. I walked in to the sight of a tiny store with limited seating area and an open-kitchen. I was then politely welcomed by a staff-member who took my order. I went with the "Rita" and "Brussel sprout." They both looked excellent with a light, airy crust and gourmet looking toppings. I also went with their homemade lemonade, which was presented beautifully. The staff member talked to me about their pizza and explained how they are a "different" type of pizzeria. That was proven when she asked me if I would like my pizza "hot or warm." That is something I have never been asked before! When I got my pizza I was immediately disappointed as it was served on a paper plate, but I didn't really mind it. I started off with the brussels sprout, which included bacon, something I was not made aware of. However, the pizza itself was not that good hard to taste the toppings or the cheese as it was drained out by the large crust. The same thing can be said about the Rita. Visited: Thursday - June 4, 2015 - 1PM Rize is sandwiched between GNC and Menchies. It is two weeks old. I was immediately greeted by an employee. I was about to ask brief details of Rize when a colorful pan of red, white and green grabbed my attention from the display case. I stopped and requested a slice of same with a bottle of refrigerated water. Seating is limited. I quickly focused on the several tables outside. As I turned, I was presented with "Rita" - fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic, basil pesto with sesame seeds on the underside. Each slice is $3.50. The pizza was full flavored, light and crispy. As I returned inside to discard the paper plates and napkins, I declared to anticipating employees - "Dangerously Delicious!" My only complaint is the fact that they have a big CBD poster in the window and when I inquired about it they pretty much acted like I was a cop trying to bust them. Hubby and I stopped into Rize on a whim for lunch a few weeks ago. The place was empty, but the guys serving up slices were friendly and the pizza looked good. The place is pretty small, but like I said, it was empty, so we found a spot along the window and dug in. My absolute favorite was the Ivory. It's just white pizza, but it was done right. The crust was phenomenal. It's super thick with sesame seeds baked into it. Such an awesome twist and so delicious. It was crunchy, soft, chewy, and super flavorful--all the things you could ever want in a pizza crust. They had a bunch of different and unique toppings and it seems like they are continually rotating what they serve. Bottom line: I have finally found the best place outside of my kitchen to get pizza. This might even be better than mine (GASP!). As a self-proclaimed pizza snob that's saying a lot. I never buy pizza when we go out, but everything about the pizza here was excellent. The crust, the ratio of toppings, the cheese. MMM. I'm getting hungry all over again just thinking about Rize. I can't say enough good things about it and I can't wait to go back. read more

We just went to this place for the first time yesterday after it came up on Yelp when I searched for "pizza". And boy, was it a shock. I literally can't remember the last time I had pizza this good... anywhere. I'm not kidding. (For reference, I've had lots of pizza in NYC, Chicago, Boston, and many other cities....) While I was chomping through a couple of their special slices, I kept saying to my wife, "this is REALLY good pizza". (She finally told me to shut up about it) I think I was just as shocked at the fact that there is a pizza place this good in the suburbs as I was about how good the pizza was. I used to live in Center City and when I moved to the suburbs, I had just accepted the sad fact that most pizza out here sucks. But Rize was an incredible revelation, and a very lucky discovery. You can tell that they make every pizza fresh, and my wife commented that you can taste the quality of their ingredients. Seriously. Go try it and you'll see what I mean. It's like I had forgotten what good pizza tastes like, and Rize helped me remember. Anyway, clearly this will be our go-to pizza place for years to come. OMG, I'm in heaven!!! We ordered three slices (Venus, Ivory and Jane) and buffalo wings (organic). The Venus was my absolute favorite. Everything was devoured so fast that I actually forgot/didn't even think about taking pictures (I'll remember next time). Ambitious little menu with delicious food. I'm a fan of the Tuscany Berry wrap with chicken, goat cheese, strawberries, cranberries, candied walnuts in a fig balsamic glaze, yum. The pizza choices are adventurous, you can get a whole pie or slices. We tried many but my favorite was the Fig Jam pizza with the "Rize crust" which is a light airy crust with sesame seeds, they also offer a gluten free cauliflower crust. The Fancy Frize are addictive with romano and asiago cheese, truffle oil and sea salt. I haven't tried any of their choices of salad, but they look promising so with the weather warming up I will be. This is based on the Broomall location, I've never tried the other two, but if they're half as good as Broomall, they would be worth trying. read more

I was incredibly impressed with Rize. When I went in to pickup my order, I immediately noticed all their precautions to keep customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic: they facilitated social distancing and all the employees were appropriately masked while working behind the counter. This reassured my family and me immensely. The friendly clerk behind the counter greeted me professionally and even offered to take out the order to my car once it was ready. And the food was phenomenal! Can't recommend the Southern Belle pizza enough; the sweet/savory combination was awesome and really well executed. I just moved to Pennsylvania from Chicago and the one thing that I miss the most is the pizza. Rize was recommended to me by a coworker to try and I must say that I was definitely impressed. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I ordered a large Monte Carlo pizza. The carmalized onions and truffle oil went so well with the ingredients! The flavor was phenomenal and the crust was absolutely delicious and had a bit of a crisp at the end, which is something that I look forward to when eating a pizza. I hate giving them 3 stars. Half the time the food is incredible; pizza dough is perfectly chewy, ingredients are fresh. The other half, not so much. Pizza is way overloaded with sauces, they don't drain the water enough from the ricotta and the pizza is mush. When it's good, it's very very good, but when it's bad it's yuck. read more

I've been living in this area 6 years now and can't believe I'm just experiencing this pizza! My husband ordered the Monty carlo pizza with the firehouse fries. I had the fig jam pizza.....Amazing!You have the option of square or round. The fig jam was round with a thin chewy crust, the perfect balance of sweet and salty and a nice creamy texture from the ricotta. The Monty carlo was square and i was nervous because the last square pizza we had was dry and awful. After reading the many positive reviews, I decided to stop in here with a friend for a few slices to go. First, the food. The crust is like focaccia with different toppings. The ivory is good and garlicky but supposedly has truffle oil - could not taste it. The Monte Carlo has a good combination of flavors but is not particularly exciting. The buffalo chicken pizza was a bit spicy and tasted like hot sauce not Cajun-ish as described. The pepperoni on the pepperoni was of good quality and the cheese was nice and stringy. Service here was disappointing. I came in with a person who uses a wheelchair. They cannot see the pies from their height and the only thing that labels the pies are the names like Monte Carlo. That should have forwarned me that this was a gamble. When I asked for the benefit of my companion, I was directed by the woman counterperson to just point to one I might be interested in because I would "just forget." I think it would be better to post these things or direct the customer to the printed menu which does have these things spelled out. After selecting 6 or so slices, I gave her my credit card, she swiped, and walked away without giving me a receipt or asking me if I wanted one. As she waited on the next party, three men chatted near the ovens and didn't bother to ask me what I was waiting for. Finally, I turned and asked for my receipt and left with my box of slices. So happy my wife and I found Rize pizza. Nothing but fantastic things to say about the employees and the food. We've eaten in (outside tables are nice, slice selection is varied), picked up (very prompt pickup) and most recently ordered catering -strombolis (cheese steak and Mediterranean), tomato pie and cookie/brownie tray for dessert. Because we loved the food so much. we decided to try the catering for a party and it did not disappoint. All our guests raved about how good the food was. We will be sure to use the catering again. Whatever they do to create the Rize crust is magic. So light and airy. The toppings are always top notch and combinations they come up with are on point. We've also had the wings and sweet potato fries which were excellent. We plan to work our way through the rest of the menu. The price is definitely worth the quality. Just give it a try. This place has been the talk of the area for a few weeks now and after receiving recommendations from numerous people, a friend and I were off to the good old Lawrence Park shopping center. After engaging in what could be considered vehicular combat with a few soccer moms, we got a VIP parking spot. This place screams Main Line. The interior is cozy but it just seems like such an odd location to have a place like this. The pizza is displayed wonderfully with a huge assortment of different varieties right in front of you. Before I begin with my assessment, I need to let everyone know that pizza is my thing. There are 2 things that I really think I know best in life. 1: Pizza 2: ....I can't think of the second one, anyways... I ordered a large square slice of their classic pepperoni. What better way to judge a pizza establishment? Is this pizza good? Yes. Would I come back? If I was in the area. Will this place blow your mind? Absolutely not. If you're into a sweeter tomato sauce, go to this place. The crust is on the verge of being something special but there is just something missing. Also, this place seems to cater to people who enjoy what I like to consider "Weird pizza". You know, pizza that has green things on it and what not. This area desperately needs a good pizza place. Checked out Rize Pizza today and loved it! They had interesting twists on typical pizzas as well as many non traditional pizzas. I had a slice of the Rita and the Venus and loved them both. The look of the new place is very modern rustic and the staff is so kind and passionate about the place. Definitely worth checking out!! read more
