It was unusable, so I returned it and searched out in the world. After passing up a sketchy place on Dame Street, I came across this hardware store that had a small selection of converter plugs. Both the gents working there were friendly and talkative, assuring me that they were of good enough quality, or they wouldn't sell them. I went for the less expensive of the two adapters, and it works just swell. Reasonable price. Lifesaver!!! I CAN PLUG IN MY ELECTRONICS OMFGGGGG... I have no other experience, and likely never will... but if I can find an excuse to start a home improvement project in Dublin, I'll come back here.

We wandered in one day and chatted with the owner who was so helpful. We got set home with some extension cords and a kind of crowbar to bust that door open. Everything was fine and dandy, though I think we may have paid a premium for shopping at such a little place. But since the owner was there and it obviously is his livelihood, I didn't feel so bad.

The second time was even worse. They couldn't find my order at all. I had to show my confirmation email six times, and after 20 minutes of waiting, they told me to come back in a few days because no one was available in the office. They said if they still couldn't locate it then, they would issue a refund. I tried to initiate a refund online, but there's no option for that--only product returns are allowed. Overall, a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. I wouldn't recommend this service.

The place is packed with everything you might need from floor to ceiling (litteraly). People queue for advice and chat while they wait. They didn't have what we needed but they tried very hard to help us out. You feel like you are back in time and it makes you it was probably better back then. Also probably the only place where you can find Vhs tapes and Pound to Euro converter might you need one.
